Race 1 – 5 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Claiming $6,250, 3-year-olds and up
4 Surf N Ski – If you watched Kenny Black horses run at Del Mar, they were dead fit and ready to fire; would not be shocked if the same holds true with his stock here.
8 Razorbill – Tepid chalk kicks off an abbreviated meet at Los Alamitos in Orange County; he has a lot of back class to run better than he did last out at Del Mar.
Long Shot – 2 Frensham

Race 2 – 5 ½ furlongs, Purse $17,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up
6 Quietasacat – Hard to believe that a horse unraced in 3-years is a solid favorite in here; first time gelding, dropping from MSW to this, need not be much horse.
4 Relative Time – His race two back at Los Alamitos was not bad for this class; he has run some speed figures fast enough to win here if he can remember how to do it.
Long Shot – 1 Hamilton High

Race 3 – 5 ½ furlongs, Purse $50,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds
7 Unbridled Summer – Ran a huge debut second against tougher at Del Mar; she is facing 5 FTS and from some major outfits like Baffert, Hollendorfer and O'Neill.
9 Lemhill Basr – Trainer Bob Baffert has supported the Los Alamitos meet unlike some other outfits; the loyalty goes back to his Quarterhorse training days and Ed Allred.
Long Shot – 4 Kiss N Scat

Race 4 – 5 ½ furlongs, Purse $17,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up
8 Cass in Stone – A few things to like about this first time gelding; taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming and exits a strong key race.
6 I'm Zonin – Sliding down the maiden claiming ladder to this bottom rung; has some early speed so expect Martin Pedroza to be riding in the front of the bus.
Long Shot – 4 El Monterey

Race 5 – 6 furlongs, Purse $46,000, Optional claiming $20,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
8 Wonderful Lie – Like the cutback angle for this Dan Blacker charge; James Graham should take advantage of riding full time at Los Alamitos while the big fish sit.
9 Sidepocket Run – Trainer Philip D'Amato won't send many to Orange County, but I suspect they will be well meant; Santiago Gonzalez was a pleasant surprise at Del Mar.
Long Shot – 2 Awesome Luck

Race 6 – 1 mile, Purse $17,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
9 Carbon Beach – If you know Iggy Puglisi and how he rides, he'll have the pedal to the metal in here; should show more gumption on the stretch out around 2-turns.
5 Suddenly Single – Mario Gutierrez exited a tremendous Del Mar meet; not only did he ride the crest of trainer Doug O'Neill's success, but he rode well on every mount.
Long Shot – 4 Union Blaze

Race 7 – 6 ½ furlongs, $75,000 Beverly J. Lewis, Fillies, 3-year-olds
2 Dr. Fager's Gal – Jerry Hollendorfer has an uncoupled entry so caveat emptor; this filly should show more early speed than Colerful Bride, will both be flying late.
3 Windy Forecast – Chance to be lone early speed if in attacking mode under Fernando Perez; has won 2-of-3 starts on dirt so she will not be a slouch in this stakes.
Long Shot – 1 Colorful Bride

Race 8 – 5 ½ furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, 2-year-olds
7 Unbridled Rocket – Trainer Vann Belvoir has an uncoupled entry so caveat emptor; this one improved admirably with blinkers on, should show controlling speed tonight.
5 Start a Runnin – Gonzalo Nicolas better make some hay this meet because he won't get much work at Santa Anita or Del Mar; live one figures to be sent hard early.
Long Shot – 8 Brownie Finale
