Bonanza scores in seventh for victory

Brittany Spencer singled home the winning run with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday to lift Bonanza to a 4-3 home softball win over Cimarron-Memorial.

Spencer went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for the Bengals, who scored three runs in the sixth to take a 3-1 lead. Cimarron rallied with two runs in the seventh.

Cheyenne Wells was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Sam Snyder was 2-for-4 for Bonanza.

• Foothill 6, Cheyenne 5 -- At Foothill, Lacey Daly hit a walk-off home run as the Falcons edged the Desert Shields.

Rosie Ritchie went 3-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI and two stolen bases, and Amber Stater contributed a two-run triple for Foothill.

Stephanie Vacca was 2-for-3 with three runs scored for Cheyenne.

• Centennial 4, Bishop Gorman 3 -- At Centennial, Johnna Brown hit an RBI triple with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Bulldogs over the Gaels.

Brown also doubled for Centennial, and winning pitcher Jennifer Watkins threw a four-hitter with six strikeouts.

• Shadow Ridge 5, Clark 2 -- At Clark, Mary Jordan had a two-run single, and the Mustangs took advantage of five errors by the Chargers.

Mandy Harmon went the distance, allowing five hits and striking out nine, to get the win. Clark's Jordyn McDonald was 2-for-3 with an RBI. She also held Shadow Ridge to two hits and struck out 11.

• Green Valley 13, Las Vegas 2 -- At Las Vegas, Alicia Firelein fired a two-hitter and went 2-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored to lead the Gators past the Wildcats.

Alexandra Bodnar went 4-for-4 with a double, home run, three runs scored and three RBIs for Green Valley, which had 16 hits.

• Basic 4, Spring Valley 3 -- At Basic, Megan Feher's RBI single with no outs in the seventh inning plated the tying run, and Cortney Breeden raced home with the winning run on a mishandled throw to the pitcher with two outs in the seventh as the Wolves rallied past the Grizzlies.

Adrian Brown had two RBIs for Basic.

• Palo Verde 8, Sierra Vista 1 -- At Palo Verde, Lauryn Stover was 4-for-4 with three runs scored to lead the Panthers past the Lions.

Alisha Perry was 2-for-3 with three RBIs for Palo Verde. Amanda Montalto went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Taylor Lampe was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs for the Panthers.

• Arbor View 6, Durango 3 -- At Arbor View, Chelsea Venable was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs to help the Aggies down the Trailblazers.

Nichole Diaz was 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and two runs scored for Arbor View.

• Liberty 25, Desert Pines 0 -- At Desert Pines, Diana Cassaro was 5-for-5 with two doubles, five runs scored and five RBIs to help the Patriots rout the Jaguars.

Carson Cooper went 4-for-4 with two doubles, three runs scored and five RBIs, and Breanna English went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple and five RBIs for Liberty.

• Rancho 15, Del Sol 2 -- At Del Sol, Katelyn Bley was 4-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI as the Rams rolled to a five-inning win.

Amerissa Villamar tossed a three-hitter and tripled for Rancho, which had 22 hits.

• Valley 23, Mojave 9 -- At Mojave, Lashanda Martinez went 3-for-5 with a double and a triple as the Vikings pounded the Rattlers.

Valley had nine hits and was helped by six Mojave errors.

• Silverado 18, Eldorado 1 -- At Eldorado, the Skyhawks scored in each of the five innings en route to an easy win over the Sundevils.

• Legacy 14, Tech 2 -- At Legacy, Kaylan Hanson went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple, and Katrina Rand was 2-for-3 with three RBIs as the Longhorns beat the Roadrunners.

Cristina Ortiz was 3-for-4 with a triple for Legacy.

• Coronado 31, Chaparral 0 -- At Chaparral, Kelsey Fahr went 4-for-6 with a triple, and Bianca Query added a double and a triple as the Cougars crushed the Cowboys in five innings.

Devyn Choltko was 4-for-6 with two doubles for Coronado, which scored 16 runs in the third inning.

• Canyon Springs 24, Western 5 -- At Western, the Pioneers scored 18 runs in the first three innings en route to the easy win.

Victoria Rivera and Jessica Thomas each had three hits for Canyon Springs. Jessica Guerra and Amber Day each scored three times for the Pioneers.
