Mayweather reportedly watched murder-suicide via FaceTime

Boxer Floyd Mayweather watched his close friend Earl Hayes shoot and kill his wife and then himself via FaceTime on Monday, according to media reports.

TMZ.com says Hayes, a rapper who was previously signed to Mayweather’s label, called the boxer on FaceTime in a rage over claims that his wife, dancer and actress Stephanie Moseley, had been unfaithful.

According to TMZ sources, after Hayes said he was going to kill his wife, Mayweather pleaded with him to calm down. The boxer’s words had little effect, as Hayes allegedly shot Moseley, then turned the gun on himself.

Los Angeles police discovered the two bodies at the couple’s apartment on Monday morning after neighbors called and reported hearing gunshots.

TMZ also reports that Hayes had accused Moseley of cheating on him with a famous singer. Mosely was an actress on the VH1 series “Hit the Floor” and had toured as a backup dancer with a number of acts, including Britney Spears and Chris Brown.

Mayweather will not say what he saw, but acknowledged to TMZ sources that he was a witness and heard everything.
