Centennial earns win in 10 innings

Jim Nelson's RBI single in the top of the 10th inning Friday broke a 4-4 tie, and Centennial went on to beat host Cimarron-Memorial, 7-4.
Anthony Consiglio went 3-for-6 with a tying home run in the seventh for the Bulldogs. Aaron Drizin and Matt Triana each went 2-for-5 for Centennial.
Aaron Hernandez was 3-for-5 to lead the Spartans.
• Arbor View 4, Legacy 3 -- At Arbor View, Josh Arnold tossed a three-hitter, allowing three unearned runs, to lead the Aggies past the Longhorns.
Brooks Robinson went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Arbor View.
• Palo Verde 17, Mojave 0 -- At Palo Verde, Christian Centrella was 3-for-4 with a triple, a double and three RBIs to help the Panthers rout the Rattlers.
Palo Verde had nine hits and took advantage of 10 walks and five Mojave errors.
• Coronado 18, Del Sol 0 -- At Del Sol, Tim Arthur went 3-for-3 with a double and four RBIs to lead the Cougars past the Dragons in five innings.
Cory Ginther was 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs for Coronado, and Andrew Gans hit a home run in the Cougars' 10-run second inning.
• Green Valley 9, Liberty 4 -- At Liberty, Jordan Van Hoosier went 3-for-5 with a home run, a triple, a double and two RBIs, and the Gators rallied from an early 4-2 deficit to down the Patriots.
Nick Melino was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs, and Chad Whiteaker was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Green Valley.
• Silverado 10, Foothill 4 -- At Silverado, Trevor Kirk was 2-for-3 with a triple, a home run and four RBIs to lead the Skyhawks past the Falcons.
Foothill's Jordan Stewart was 2-for-4 with a home run.
• Moapa Valley 9, Rancho 8 -- At Overton, Bobby Vallet's two-out double in the bottom of the seventh scored Max Jenkins with the winning run as the Pirates beat the Rams.
Vallet was 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Kevin Kline and Eric Holdren each homered for Rancho.
• Shadow Ridge 10, Cheyenne 4 -- At Cheyenne, Allan Butler had four RBIs to help the Mustangs beat the Desert Shields.
Jose Triana was 3-for-3 with a run scored for Shadow Ridge.
Jacob Hoff went 3-for-3 with three runs scored for Cheyenne.
• Basic 13, Tech 1 -- At Tech, John Anderson and Brett Wellman each had two doubles as the Wolves cruised to a five-inning win over the Roadrunners.
Basic's Josh Ross and Mike Feher combined on a one-hitter.
• Spring Valley 16, Eldorado 1 -- At Eldorado, Connor McKenna went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI as the Grizzlies routed the Sundevils.
Billy Bob Ward had a double and three RBIs for Spring Valley, which had just six hits but drew 15 walks.
• Virgin Valley 5-12, Pahrump Valley 3-21 -- At Mesquite, winning pitcher Mike Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with two home runs, a triple and six RBIs in the second game as the Trojans split a doubleheader with the Bulldogs.
Gonzalez also homered in the opener. Colton Teerlink homered for Virgin Valley in the first game.
• Calvary Chapel 22-18, Henderson International 10-0 -- At Henderson International, Cameron Harper went 4-for-6 with a triple and two doubles in the first game and 3-for-3 with a home run and a triple in the second game as the Lions swept the Wolverines.
T.J. White had three hits, including a home run, for Calvary in the opener.
Cory Welch was 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple and a double in the second game.
• Mountain View 7-9, Laughlin 5-12 -- At Mountain View, the Saints and Cougars split a doubleheader.
Craig Sacra had two hits and struck out eight in 6 1/3 innings to lead Mountain View in the first game. In the second game, Laughlin had just four hits but pulled out the win.
• Lake Mead 17-21, Trinity 9-5 -- At Trinity, Sangki Kim had a double, two triples and seven RBIs in the second game as the Eagles swept a doubleheader from the Thunder.
Phillip Nix had three hits in the first game for Lake Mead.
