Cummard, Brigham Young dump Wyoming

LARAMIE, Wyo. -- Lee Cummard had 25 points and eight rebounds Saturday to lead Brigham Young to a 73-63 victory over Wyoming.
Wyoming (8-12, 2-6 Mountain West) got within 54-53 midway through the second half, but the Cowboys had no answer for Cummard.
BYU's leading scorer put up nine points in the final eight minutes to highlight a 14-4 run by the Cougars (17-5, 6-1).
Trent Plaisted had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Jonathan Tavernari 10 points and 10 rebounds for BYU.
Brad Jones had 13 points and Tyson Johnson and Brandon Ewing 12 each for Wyoming.
• Air Force 56, Texas Christian 46 -- At Fort Worth, Texas, Tim Anderson scored 18 points as the Falcons (12-8, 4-3) beat the Horned Frogs (11-9, 3-4).
Anderson hit 4 of 10 3-pointers in a game that featured 48 attempts from beyond the arc.
Air Force was up 28-20 at halftime after hitting 52 percent from the field. The Horned Frogs missed 14 of their 18
3-point tries in the half.
Kevin Langford led TCU scorers with 11 points.
• Utah 67, Colorado State 52 -- At Fort Collins, Colo., Carlon Brown scored a career-high 16 points as the Utes (12-8, 3-4) beat the Rams (6-15, 0-7).
Johnnie Bryant added 13 points for Utah, which led
33-13 at halftime.
Marcus Walker had 23 points to lead Colorado State, loser of eight straight games.
