Cung Le KOs Franklin in UFC card in China
MACAU, China - Cung Le landed a crushing right hand that knocked former middleweight champion Rich Franklin out cold at just 2:17 of the first round to earn an upset victory on the first Ultimate Fighting Championship card held in China.
Thiago Silva handed Stanislav Nedkov the first defeat of his career with an arm triangle submission in the third and final round after Nedkov had won the first two rounds of the co-main event at The Venetian in Macau.
Takanori Gomi and Dong Hyun Kim picked up decision victories on the card.
