Dawson lifts Clark to win over Western

Elisa Dawson pitched a five-inning perfect game Thursday, leading Clark's softball team to a 12-0 win at Western.

Dawson struck out 10 of the 15 hitters she faced and went 3-for-3. Shannon Chapman was 2-for-4.

Durango 7, Spring Valley 2 -- At Durango, Nicole Herrera carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning and stroked a two-run double to lead the Trailblazers.

Herrera hit a batter to start the seventh and then allowed the Grizzlies' only hit, a two-run homer by Taylor Gilliand.

Las Vegas 10, Canyon Springs 0 -- At Las Vegas, Monique Hernandez threw a five-inning no-hitter to lead the Wildcats.

Hernandez had five strikeouts and three walks. She also had a double and two RBIs.

Hayli Rochell hit a grand slam, and Jennifer Gliddon was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Rancho 11, Desert Pines 1 -- At Rancho, Jesslyn Bley tossed a two-hitter to lead the Rams.

Saige Diller and Ashlee Sheppard each went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Rancho.

Sierra Vista 10, Bishop Gorman 6 -- At Willows Park, Amelia McIntosh went 4-for-5 with two RBIs to lift the Lions.

Andrea McIntosh was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs for Sierra Vista, which scored six runs in the fifth.

Gorman's Marietta Maffey went 2-for-2 with four RBIs.

Eldorado 18, Chaparral 1 -- At Eldorado, Gabrielle Trillo had a triple, a double and three RBIs for the Sundevils.

Boulder City 21-28, Lake Mead 0-2 -- At Boulder City, Dylan Scott went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs and pitched a two-hitter to lead the Eagles in the first game.

In Game 2, Boulder City's Bridgette Ward went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBIs and Megan Snyder was 4-for-5 with four RBIs.
