Eldorado scores twice in sixth inning, nudges Rancho, 8-7

Eldorado rallied for two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to edge visiting Rancho 8-7 on Wednesday in high school softball.
Winning pitcher Kari Hansen struck out nine and had a double and an RBI. Marian Freiburger had a double, a triple and two RBIs for the Sundevils, who had 24 hits.
Jesslyn Bley tripled for Rancho.
• Cheyenne 6, Arbor View 3 -- At Cheyenne, winning pitcher Alexis Galindo allowed four hits and struck out eight to lead the Desert Shields over the Aggies.
Stephanie Vacca hit a two-run double for Cheyenne, which rallied for four runs in the bottom of the fifth.
• Spring Valley 8, Bishop Gorman 5 -- At West Flamingo, Jasmine Wilson went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBIs to lift the Grizzlies over the Gaels.
Yazmine Antonio went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Spring Valley.
Hayley Atiyeh was 3-for-4 with a double for Gorman.
• Las Vegas 5, Valley 0 -- At Las Vegas, Jennifer Gliddon pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and went 2-for-3 with a run as the Wildcats blanked the Vikings.
Las Vegas' Tajia Law went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI.
• Foothill 7, Basic 3 -- At Foothill, Shelbie Medrano threw five scoreless innings with three strikeouts and Janina Stampahar went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run as the Falcons defeated the Wolves.
Courtney Breeden went 3-for-4 with one RBI for Basic.
• Cimarron-Memorial 15, Legacy 2 -- At Cimarron, Brittany Henderson was 2-for-2 with a double, a home run and four RBIs to help the Spartans to a five-inning victory.
Chelsea Williams had a double, a homer and three RBIs and Jennifer Liddell and Paige Savage each went 2-for-2 for Cimarron.
• Centennial 16, Mojave 2 -- At Centennial, Johnna Brown was 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and five RBIs as the Bulldogs routed the Rattlers.
Bre Egge was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Centennial. Monique Fuiava hit a two-run homer in the first for Mojave.
• Silverado 10, Liberty 0 -- At Liberty, Katie Devlin tossed a five-hitter, striking out seven, to lead the Skyhawks past the Patriots.
Emily Edmonson went 3-for-5 to lead Silverado, which collected 13 hits. Teammate Mikayla Thielges was 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs.
• Bonanza 10, Clark 0 -- At Clark, Courtney Bauder went 2-for-4 with a triple and three runs as the Bengals defeated the Chargers in six innings.
Samantha Snyder threw a two-hitter with six strikeouts to get the victory.
• Shadow Ridge 10, Palo Verde 1 -- At Palo Verde, Olive Naotala pitched a three-hitter to lift the Mustangs over the Panthers.
Courtney Wianette and Ashley Huddleston each went 3-for-5 with two RBIs for Palo Verde.
Michaela Sandoval, who went 1-for-3 with a triple, scored Palo Verde's run in the third inning.
• Sierra Vista 12, Western 0 -- At Western, Kelsey McCoy and Amelia McIntosh combined on a two-hitter as the Lions downed the Warriors in five innings.
Brittany Wright went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Brittany Cram was 3-for-4 with three RBIs for Sierra Vista.
• Desert Pines 13, Chaparral 3 -- At Desert Pines, Isis Roberts was 3-for-3 with two home runs as the Jaguars defeated the Cowboys in five innings.
Yesenia Leyva-Lopez pitched a two-hitter with five strikeouts to get the victory.
• Green Valley 10, Del Sol 0 -- At Del Sol, Katie Stewart threw a five-inning two-hitter to lead the Gators over the Dragons.
Kayla Anderson went 3-for-3 for Green Valley, and teammate Lindsey Headley was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
