Findlay Prep rips Carolina visitor; Gorman up next

Winston Shepard had 23 points to lead Findlay Prep to an 86-57 home victory over Flora MacDonald (N.C.) on Friday night.
Shepard, a 6-foot-8-inch junior, also had 13 rebounds for the Pilots.
Flora MacDonald led 16-15 after one quarter, but Texas signee Myck Kabongo scored nine of his 13 points in the second quarter and the Pilots took a 43-30 halftime lead.
Junior Nazareth Long was 3-for-4 on 3-pointers and scored 13 points for Findlay. Arizona signee Nick Johnson added 11 points, and 6-9 junior Landen Lucas had five blocked shots for the Pilots (20-2).
Rutgers signee Jerome Seagears had 22 points to lead Flora MacDonald.
Findlay Prep, ranked seventh nationally by ESPN Rise, plays two-time defending Class 4A state champion Bishop Gorman (13-4) at 8 tonight at Cox Pavilion.
