• LAKE MEAD -- Water levels have risen enough that boaters are launching at the Overton boat launch.
Anglers found success for stripers last weekend near Stewart's Point between Overton and Echo Bay. The Vegas Wash arm has been producing striped bass for anglers using cut bait. Trout anglers have been catching their limits at Crawdad Cove following recent trout plants.
• LAKE MOHAVE -- Anglers have been catching 10- to 14-inch trout at Willow Beach, both above and below the pier and near Jumbo Wash. PowerBait and small lures are catching the fish.
Boaters are having success north and south of the marina. Shore fishing continues to be successful off the south point of the marina. Stripers in the 2- to 6-pound range have been taking anchovies.
• URBAN PONDS -- Anglers took advantage of nice weather last weekend to catch rainbows on PowerBait, small lures and small flies. Las Vegas-area ponds and Veterans Memorial Park pond in Boulder City received fish Tuesday.
• KIRCH WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA -- Anglers must use caution on the ice. Some reservoirs have open water.
• EAGLE VALLEY RESERVOIR -- Fish still are being caught, but the ice around the edge of the lake melts by the afternoon. Use caution on the ice or fish from the dock.
• ECHO CANYON RESERVOIR -- Conditions are unsafe.
