FISHING REPORT
• LAKE MEAD -- Trout anglers have been catching fish from the Hemenway fishing dock and Boulder Harbor fishing pier after recent plants. Striper fishing has been sporadic, though a few were caught near Boulder Harbor. Anglers using cut bait caught small stripers in the Vegas Wash arm.
• LAKE MOHAVE -- Trout fishing was excellent over the weekend at Willow Beach. Several anglers caught their limit within the first hour. A few large stripers were caught from Willow Beach to Placer Cove. Shore and boat anglers have been catching fish off the south point of the marina.
• URBAN PONDS -- Fishing continues to be good. Small pieces of Power Bait, worms, lures and flies have been catching fish. The Nevada Department of Wildlife stocked ponds in Las Vegas and Boulder City on Tuesday.
• KIRCH WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA -- Ice conditions are degrading. Anglers must use caution on or around the ice. There is some open water on Dacey Reservoir.
• EAGLE VALLEY RESERVOIR -- Anglers are urged to use caution on the ice. Drilling holes next to the dock to fish is a safe approach.
• ECHO CANYON RESERVOIR -- Ice conditions are unsafe.
