Franklin carries Rams to win in double overtime

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Travis Franklin scored 10 of his career-high 24 points in the second overtime to lead Colorado State to an 89-75 victory over San Francisco on Sunday.
Franklin also kept the game alive at the end of the first overtime with two free throws, tying the score at 73. Dorian Green added 17 points for the Rams (4-2).
Dior Lowhorn led the Dons (2-4) with 22 points. Rashad Green had 21.
Dorian Green hit a 3-pointer and Franklin had a conventional three-point play and a tip-in basket on Colorado State's first three possessions of the second overtime to pull the Rams ahead, 81-73. The lead was 89-73 before San Francisco scored its first points of the second extra period.
The Dons missed five shots in the second overtime and didn't score until 40 seconds remained.
• Wyoming 86, Pepperdine 82 -- At Laramie, Wyo., A.J. Davis scored a career-high 20 points as the Cowboys (3-4) edged the Waves (3-4) in overtime in the World Vision Basketball Challenge.
Wyoming lost a 13-point second-half lead but outscored Pepperdine 7-3 in overtime for its lone win of the tournament.
Tournament Most Valuable Player Keion Bell scored 28 points for Pepperdine, which won the tournament based on victories over Hampton and Monmouth.
The Cowboys appeared to be in control in the second half, leading by 11 with 4:25 to play. But Pepperdine chipped away and tied the game on a 3-pointer by Joshua Lowery with 11 seconds left.
