• ARBOR VIEW -- Girls cross country runner Katie Carrell placed first in a meet with Cheyenne, Bishop Gorman and Laughlin. Boys soccer player Jonathan Mayorga had three goals in an 8-1 win over Desert Pines.
• BISHOP GORMAN -- Girls cross country runner Mary Essa placed first in the Freshman/Sophomore race at the Las Vegas Invitational. Boys soccer player Steven Avena had a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win over Green Valley.
• BONANZA -- Football player Antonio Beals had 26 carries for 180 yards against Rancho. Girls volleyball player Alison Simons totaled nine kills, 17 blocks and 12 aces in three matches.
• CENTENNIAL -- Football player Matt Holley had a rushing touchdown, a receiving touchdown and a punt return for a touchdown in a 35-14 win over Durango. Girls tennis player Selina Brown was 3-0 in singles in an 11-7 victory over Arbor View.
• CHAPARRAL -- Football player Quentin McCloud rushed for 234 yards and two touchdowns and also had seven tackles against Basic.
• CIMARRON-MEMORIAL -- Boys soccer player Chad Rigler had three goals and two assists in a 5-1 victory over Rancho. Girls cross country runner Tiffany Hutton finished first in a meet with Centennial and Spring Valley.
• CLARK -- Girls volleyball player Mallory Johnson totaled 17 kills and 17 aces in two victories.
• CORONADO -- Girls tennis player Chrissy Uriarte went 5-0 in singles for the week. Boys soccer player Dylan McBride had assists against Clark and Spring Valley.
• DEL SOL -- Girls tennis player Farwa Hussein went 5-1 in singles in matches with Coronado and Basic. Quarterback Matt Burge has passed for 228 yards and two TDs in two games.
• FAITH LUTHERAN -- Girls soccer player Hannah Stevens had four goals and an assist against Virgin Valley. Boys soccer player Ryan Sniezyk had three goals in a 6-0 win over Virgin Valley.
• GREEN VALLEY -- Girls volleyball player Jena Chavez totaled 53 assists, five aces, four digs and five blocks to lead the Gators to wins over Las Vegas and Sierra Vista.
• LAS VEGAS -- Girls golfer Ashley Manhnieo finished second in two Northeast Division matches, shooting 97 and 107.
• THE MEADOWS -- Boys tennis player Jimmy Lovett was 6-0 in singles against Bishop Gorman and Clark. Girls cross country runner Erin Walsh was 20th out of 55 runners in a meet at Palo Verde.
• MOUNTAIN VIEW -- Quarterback Evan Entler threw for 273 yards and three touchdowns in a 44-18 win over Spring Mountain. Girls volleyball player Randall Van Kempen was named to the all-tournament team at the Lake Mead Fall Classic.
• PALO VERDE -- Boys tennis player Spencer Aguiar went 7-0 in singles for the week. Girls tennis player Lauren Centrella was 6-0 in singles for the week.
• SHADOW RIDGE -- Boys cross country runner Tyler Bernard placed first in his first two dual meets. Girls cross country runner Ashley Graf placed first in a meet with Palo Verde, Virgin Valley and The Meadows.
• SILVERADO -- Girls golfer Stephanie Whatley shot 9-over-par 81 to place second individually in a Southeast Division match. Football player Kolton Villa had 11 solo tackles and rushed 10 times for 105 yards in a 21-14 win over Sierra Vista.
• VALLEY -- Boys cross country runner Eric Lystrup placed fifth in a meet with Green Valley, Basic and Eldorado.
• WESTERN -- Girls cross country runner Zitlalli Mayorga-Mayor placed first in a meet with Faith Lutheran, Mojave and Moapa Valley. Football player Lawrence Guy had four sacks among his 12 tackles in a 40-12 win over Coronado.
