■ ARBOR VIEW -- Girls cross country runner Amberly Halstead won the sophomore title in the Bud O'Dea Freshman-Sophomore race in 16 minutes, 13 seconds on a 2.5-mile course. Boys cross country runner Conor Gallagher placed 13th in the Laughlin Invitational in 18:14 on a 3.1-mile course.
■ BISHOP GORMAN -- Boys cross country runner Shawn Smith placed 36th in the Central Park Invitational (Calif.).
■ BONANZA -- Boys soccer player Adrian Chavez led the Bengals' defense in a 3-0 shutout of Western.
■ CALVARY CHAPEL -- Girls volleyball player Laura Perri totaled 17 assists and three aces in two wins at Mountain View.
■ CANYON SPRINGS -- Girls golfer Taylor Candley shot 11-over-par 83 to finish seventh at the Sunrise Region championships and qualify for the state tournament. Boys soccer player Sixto Lucero totaled 15 saves in matches against Las Vegas and Rancho.
■ CENTENNIAL -- Girls volleyball player Lacy Miyahira totaled 58 assists in wins over Palo Verde and Faith Lutheran. Football player Jacobi Owens rushed for 132 yards and one touchdown against Cimarron-Memorial.
■ CHAPARRAL -- Girls volleyball player Sara Tucker had 18 aces and seven digs in a 3-2 loss to Virgin Valley.
■ CHEYENNE -- Girls tennis player Kaori Miki reached the quarterfinals of the Sunset Region singles tournament. Football player Tyler Spight carried 28 times for 217 yards and five touchdowns and scored on a 15-yard reception in a 60-58 loss in four overtimes to Arbor View.
■ CIMARRON-MEMORIAL -- Girls tennis players Stephanie Kaplan and Solena Mednicoff finished the season with a 23-5 doubles record. Football player Taz Taoipu rushed for 122 yards and one touchdown and caught a 19-yard TD pass in a 27-17 win over Centennial.
■ CORONADO -- Girls tennis player Gabrielle Smith went 8-0 in singles in the Sunrise Region tournament. Boys cross country runner Ryan Gehring won the Bud O'Dea Freshman-Sophomore race in 13:58 on a 2.5-mile course.
■ DESERT OASIS -- Girls volleyball player Suzanna Paul had seven kills, three blocks and two aces in a 3-0 win over Desert Pines. Football player Trevon Barnes rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown on seven carries in a 41-0 rout of Pahrump Valley.
■ DURANGO -- Football player Julio Mora rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns on 11 attempts in a 41-14 win at Sierra Vista.
■ FAITH LUTHERAN -- Girls volleyball player Vanessa Sigman totaled 31 kills and 11 aces in three victories. Football player Brad Pearson had two interceptions, returned a fumble 35 yards for a touchdown and caught a 52-yard TD pass in a 45-0 win over Mojave.
■ GREEN VALLEY -- Girls cross country runner Lindy Eskin placed third in the Bud O'Dea Freshman-Sophomore race in 16:12 on a 2.5-mile course. Boys soccer player Matt Babas scored four goals in a 4-2 win over Foothill.
■ LIBERTY -- Girls volleyball player Amanda Delgado had 16 kills, 14 assists and 11 digs in a 3-2 win over Del Sol. Football player Niko Kapeli had 175 yards rushing and 64 receiving in a 37-26 win at Green Valley.
■ THE MEADOWS -- Girls volleyball player Alex Hall totaled 15 kills and 20 digs in two wins at Needles (Calif.). Football player Max Newman caught seven passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns in a 52-23 win at Needles.
■ MOJAVE -- Girls cross country runner Valeria Barajas posted personal-best times in three straight meets to end the season. Football player Bryant Lewis had 46 yards rushing and 41 receiving against Faith Lutheran.
■ MOUNTAIN VIEW -- Girls volleyball player Kayla Kirk totaled 11 kills, five blocks and three aces in two losses to Calvary Chapel. Football player Justyn Anderson scored two rushing touchdowns and two receiving in a win over Calvary Chapel.
■ PALO VERDE -- Girls cross country runner Kelsi Koch took 12th in the Central Park Invitational (Calif.) in 19:43 on a 3-mile course. Boys tennis player Fernando Sunago went 2-0 in singles in a 15-3 win over Centennial in the Sunset Region final.
■ SHADOW RIDGE -- Girls cross country runner Ciera Clayton placed sixth in the Lake Mead Invitational. Boys soccer player Juan Gutierrez totaled three goals and one assist in matches against Faith Lutheran and Cimarron-Memorial.
■ TECH -- Boys cross country runner Martin Ponce was the top freshman finisher in the Bud O'Dea Freshman-Sophomore race in 14:16 on a 2.5-mile course.
