■ BONANZA -- Girls volleyball player Bree Hammel totaled 35 kills, 36 digs and five aces in two matches. Boys tennis player Craig Whiting went 3-0 in doubles against Chaparral.

■ CALVARY CHAPEL -- Girls volleyball player Bri Ridley averaged eight kills as the Lions went 6-2 at the Lady Trojan Invitational in Pahrump.

■ CENTENNIAL -- Football player Taj Cole rushed for 165 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries in a 19-13 win over Green Valley. Girls volleyball player Lacy Miyahira had 30 assists, five kills, 10 digs, five blocks and two aces in a 3-1 win over Silverado.

■ CHAPARRAL -- Girls cross country runner Andrea Bouschet took third in a Northeast League meet.

■ CIMARRON-MEMORIAL -- Girls golfer Kellie Busse shot 43 for nine holes to earn medalist honors in the Northwest League opener at Aliante. Boys soccer player Kevin Romero had two goals and an assist in a 3-0 victory over Clark.

■ CLARK -- Girls cross country runner Julianna Thornock won against Desert Oasis and Bonanza in 22:09 and medaled in 20:30 at the Labor Day Classic.

■ CORONADO -- Girls cross country runner Erin Smith took second at the Labor Day Classic. Boys soccer player Jordan Yergensen had two goals and an assist in two victories.

■ DESERT OASIS -- Girls golfer Darlene Raymond shot a school-record 79 to finish second in a Southwest League match at Canyon Gate. Boys soccer player Jarom Stuart scored three goals in a 4-0 win over Virgin Valley.

■ LAS VEGAS -- Girls volleyball player Breanna Melton had 18 kills and 15 digs against Silverado. Football player Andre Gaston made five tackles, one for a loss, and returned a fumble for a touchdown in a 49-7 win at Snow Canyon (Utah).

■ LIBERTY -- Boys tennis player Gil Lim went 3-0 in singles in an 11-7 victory over Las Vegas. Girls volleyball player Kapua Akiona had 27 assists in a 3-1 win over Sunrise Mountain.

■ THE MEADOWS -- Boys tennis player Max Novack was 3-0 in singles against Arbor View.

■ MOUNTAIN VIEW -- Football player T.J. Engel passed for 194 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 117 yards and two scores in a 36-25 win at Pahrump Valley. Girls volleyball player Katelyn Krebs totaled 12 kills, 10 digs, nine blocks and 14 aces in six matches at the Lady Trojan Invitational.

■ PALO VERDE -- Football player Chaisson Prescott passed for 104 yards and one touchdown and had five tackles and a fumble recovery in a 24-21 victory over Liberty. Girls tennis player Victoire Saperstein went a combined 6-0 in singles against Bishop Gorman and Coronado.

■ SUNRISE MOUNTAIN -- Girls tennis player Stacy Cabrera went a combined 6-3 in three matches against Tech, Mojave and Virgin Valley. Boys tennis player Rudy Sanchez went 2-1 in doubles against Virgin Valley.

■ VALLEY -- Boys soccer player Carlos Flores scored twice in a 3-0 victory over Green Valley.
