• ARBOR VIEW -- Boys track athlete Adonis Gaines won the 3,200 meters and was second in the 1,600 at the Sunset Region Freshman/Sophomore Championships. Girls track athlete Andrea Gonzlaez was fourth in the 3,200 at the Sunset Region Freshman/Sophomore Championships.

• BISHOP GORMAN -- Baseball player Neil Lawhorn went 9-for-14 with two doubles, four runs and two RBIs in four wins. Softball player Claudia Franco went 7-for-10 with two triples, a homer and seven RBIs in three games.

• BOULDER CITY -- Boys track athlete Alex Dillon cleared 13 feet, 6 inches to win the pole vault in a meet with Coronado and Chaparral. Girls swimmer Kelsey Thompson won the 100-yard butterfly and 200 freestyle in a meet with Moapa Valley.

• CENTENNIAL -- Baseball player Michael Wagner pitched a three-hit shutout with six strikeouts and no walks against Shadow Ridge. Girls track athlete Takara Shaw was third in the shot put and fourth in the discus at the Sunset Region Freshman/Sophomore Championships.

• CIMARRON-MEMORIAL -- Boys golfer Doran Walker shot a personal-best 79 in a Northwest League match at Silverstone.

• CORONADO -- Boys golfer A.J. McInerney shot 4-under-par 66 to win a Southeast league match. Girls swimmer Sammy Bright won the 500-yard freestyle and was third in the 50 freestyle against Bishop Gorman.

• DESERT OASIS -- Softball player Nicole Liakos hit .428 in two league games with a double, three runs, two RBIs and a stolen base. Boys track athlete Jacob Benham was third in the shot put and discus in a meet with Clark and Bishop Gorman.

• DURANGO -- Boys golfer Christian Pate shot 76 in a Southwest League match at Bear's Best.

• FAITH LUTHERAN -- Softball player Kellie Kersey went 5-for-9 and struck out eight to pick up a pitching victory in a doubleheader with Virgin Valley.

• GREEN VALLEY -- Baseball player Brett Harrison went 11-for-14 with two doubles, three home runs, 11 runs and 13 RBIs to lead the Gators to four wins. Softball pitcher Alicia Firelein posted three victories with a 1.70 ERA and raised her batting average to .356.

• LEGACY -- Boys golfer Ryan Stimson shot 78 in a Northwest League match.

• LIBERTY -- Boys volleyball player Joe Babitz made the all-tournament team at the Longhorn Invitational. Girls track athlete Joslyn Evans won the 3,200 meters at the Sunrise Region Freshman/Sophomore Championships.

• MOUNTAIN VIEW -- Baseball player Billy Paddack was 7-for-7 with two home runs and five RBIs and was the winning pitcher in a doubleheader with Laughlin.

• PALO VERDE -- Boys golfer Kyle Melchiorre shot 3-under-par 69 to win a Northwest League match. Girls track athlete Jordan Larocco won the high jump, long jump and triple jump in a meet with Mojave and Shadow Ridge.

• SHADOW RIDGE -- Boys golfer Anthony Metzger shot 43 to earn medalist honors in a dual match with Cimarron-Memorial. Girls swimmer Alexa Ray set a personal best in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1 minute, 19.78 seconds.

• VALLEY -- Girls swimmer Kersey Wahlquist won the 200-yard freestyle in a meet with Chaparral.
