BASIC — Girls basketball player Michaela Thomas had 22 points and eight rebounds in a 50-48 win over Chaparral. Boys basketball player Nick Sangchaloay was the Most Valuable Player of the Lake Mead Holiday Classic.
BOULDER CITY — Wrestler Spencer Sasarita won seven matches, all by pin, at the Boulder City Duals and the River Valley (Ariz.) Duals.

CHAPARRAL — Boys basketball player Chris Goodloe had 15 points, 11 rebounds and three assists in a 57-54 overtime win over Basic. Girls basketball player Desiree Pierce had 15 points and four steals in a 40-29 victory over Del Sol.

CORONADO — Boys bowler John Mortero had a 662 series in a victory over Foothill. Girls basketball player Courtney Whitaker totaled 29 points, 33 rebounds and 20 steals in four games.
DESERT PINES — Boys basketball player Pierre Jackson totaled 71 points in three games. Girls basketball player LaBrea Walker totaled 43 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists in two games.

FEMALE Caiti Forrester Boulder City The senior forward had 38 points, six rebounds and five steals in a 61-34 win over River Valley (Ariz.). Forrester added 20 points, five rebounds and four steals in a 43-38 victory over Mountain View.
