■ ARBOR VIEW — Softball player Letty Valenzuela has posted a 6-2 record with a 1.11 ERA and 35 strikeouts in the circle this season.
■ BONANZA — Girls track and field athlete Emily Adams won the 3,200-meter run with a time of 12 minutes, 7 seconds at the Las Vegas Track Classic, the No. 2 mark in school history.
■ CENTENNIAL — Boys track athlete Nico Fonzi cleared 13 feet in the pole vault at the Santa Barbara (Calif.) Relays. Girls track athlete Sydney Badger won the 3,200- and 1,600-meter runs and ran on the winning distance medley and 1,600 relay teams at the Santa Barbara (Calif.) Relays.
■ CHEYENNE — Softball player Vanessa Sanders had a .569 average, 16 RBIs, three doubles and two home runs at the Spring Jamboree tournament.
■ CORONADO — Girls track athlete Shaye’e Swaine anchored the sprint medley relay team to a win at the Santa Barbara (Calif.) Relays and a second-place finish in the 800 relay. Boys volleyball player Tyler Cucullu made the all-tournament team at the La Jolla (Calif.) Cities Invitational.
■ DESERT OASIS — Boys golfer Sam Teitjen shot a two-day 160 to tie for sixth at the Pahrump Valley Invitational. Girls swimmer Karen Kurosawa won the 200-yard individual medley and 100 breaststroke in a meet with Centennial.
■ FAITH LUTHERAN — Boys track athlete Mark Rubalcaba placed second in the long jump (21 feet, 10½ inches) and fourth in the triple jump (43-4½) at the Las Vegas Track Classic, setting school records in both events. Girls track athlete Clarissa Maxey won the 100- and 200-meter dashes at the Las Vegas Track Classic. She also ran on the second-place 400 and 1,600 relay teams.
■ GREEN VALLEY — Baseball player Troy Cropper hit .466 with a double, a triple and four RBIs and earned a win and a save at the Big League Dugout Invitational in Phoenix. Softball player Maggie Manwarren was 5-for-5 to lead the Gators to a 10-6 win over Marantha (Calif.) in the Bronze Bracket championship game at the Spring Jamboree at Majestic Park.
■ LIBERTY — Baseball pitcher Nate Bennett threw a shutout against Spring Valley to improve to 4-0 with a 2.25 ERA.
■ THE MEADOWS — Girls track athlete Jeneke Heerema set a school record of 5 minutes, 19.5 seconds in the 1,600-meter run against Palo Verde.
■ PALO VERDE — Boys volleyball player Andrew Weston had a total of 95 assists and 25 digs in three matches. Girls swimmer Izzy Goldsmith finished first in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 butterfly against Sierra Vista.
■ SIERRA VISTA — Swimmer Lina Herbig posted a regional qualifying time in the 200-yard freestyle. Boys volleyball player Julius Sison had a total of 45 digs and eight aces in three matches.
■ SILVERADO — Boys track athlete Jonathan Aman posted a mark of 17 feet, 4 inches in the long jump at the Huntington Beach (Calif.) Invitational.

The junior thrower won the shot put and discus at the Las Vegas Track Classic, earning Outstanding Field Athlete honors. Blake set a meet record in the shot with a throw of 49 feet, 1/2 inch, and took the discus with a mark of 142-5.
