■ ARBOR VIEW - Football player Anthony Smith rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown and recorded nine tackles in a 35-29 win over Palo Verde. Girls soccer player Breanna Larkin scored three goals in a 9-1 win over Spring Valley.

■ CANYON SPRINGS - Football player Donnel Pumphrey scored five touchdowns in a 33-32 loss to Green Valley. Girls soccer player Rosaura Guerrero-Escobedo scored four goals in a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over Rancho.

■ CENTENNIAL - Boys cross country runner Jackson Carter won the 3.1-mile Division I Sunset Region meet at Veterans Memorial Park in Boulder City in 16 minutes, 48 seconds. Girls cross country runner Sydney Badger won the Sunset meet in 18:50.2.

■ CHEYENNE - Boys cross country runner Tevin Brown took 12th in the Division I-A Southern Region meet in 18:44.4 to qualify for state. Girls soccer player Mackenzie Smith scored three goals in an 8-0 Senior Day win over Adelson School.

■ CIMARRON-MEMORIAL - Football player Justin Davis rushed for 236 yards, including touchdowns of 50 and 80 yards, in a 31-14 loss at Bonanza. Girls soccer player Ryann Abeyta had two goals and three assists in an 11-1 win over Legacy.

■ CORONADO - Boys cross country runner Alan Ekanger took third at the Sunrise Region meet in 17:24.3 to lead the Cougars to the team title.

■ DESERT OASIS - Boys cross country runner Frankie Martinez placed sixth at the Sunset Region meet in 17:31.1. Girls soccer player Megan Stanton scored twice, including the winning goal, in a 3-2 victory over Bonanza to clinch a postseason berth.

■ DURANGO - Boys cross country runner Sami Mesgun took seventh at the Sunset Region meet in 17:43.7. Girls cross country runner Virginia Salazar-Sandoval ran the Sunset meet in 21:44.5.

■ FAITH LUTHERAN - Girls cross country runner Macy Helm ran the Division I-A Southern Region meet in 26:27.2, helping the Crusaders win the team title.

■ SIERRA VISTA - Boys soccer player Giovanni Amaya scored the equalizing goal in the final minute of a 1-1 tie against Palo Verde. Girls volleyball player Sydney Land had five kills and 10 blocks, six of them solo, in a 25-19, 25-21, 25-22 sweep of Arbor View.
