■ BONANZA - Boys cross country runner Robert Rudd took ninth out of more than 220 runners in the Labor Day Classic in 15:13.9. Girls tennis player Adrienne Milow went 3-0 in singles against Faith Lutheran and Clark.

■ CENTENNIAL - Football player Coby Newton ran for 198 yards on 27 carries, including the winning touchdown, in a 24-20 victory over Palo Verde. Girls soccer player Paris Gonzales scored two goals in a 7-0 win over Spring Valley.

■ CHEYENNE - Girls soccer player Mackenzie Smith totaled four goals in victories over Virgin Valley and Chaparral.

■ CIMARRON-MEMORIAL - Boys soccer player Garrick Quackenbush had one goal and two assists in a 4-0 rout of Shadow Ridge. Girls golfer Aspen Bryant shot an 80 to win a Southwest League match.

■ CORONADO - Boys soccer player Kaviyon Sadrolashrafi posted a shutout in a 1-0 win over Shadow Ridge. Girls cross country runner Sara Dort won the Labor Day Classic in 17:39.

■ DESERT OASIS - Boys tennis player Ryan Cronk went 3-0 in singles in a 10-9 victory over Durango. Girls soccer player Megan Stanton scored three goals in a 4-0 win over Sierra Vista.

■ DURANGO - Football player Marcus Sanders-Williams ran for 127 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries in a 54-7 win over Bonanza. Girls cross country runner Virginia Salazar-Sandoval placed second at Arbor View in 17:25.

■ FAITH LUTHERAN - Boys soccer player Sam Stevens scored two goals in a 3-1 victory over Cheyenne.

■ GREEN VALLEY - Girls golfer Mercedes Khumnark shot a 74 to lead the Gators to victory in a Northeast League match.

■ THE MEADOWS - Girls volleyball player Alex Hall totaled 47 kills and 49 digs over a 4-1 stretch.

■ SHADOW RIDGE - Football player Bakari Smith rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns and passed for 199 yards and two TDs in a 58-6 win over Western.

■ SIERRA VISTA - Football player Maliek Broady rushed for 146 yards on 18 carries in a 45-6 rout of Sunrise Mountain. Girls volleyball player Shelby Stiles had five kills and eight aces in a 3-0 sweep of Cimarron-Memorial.

■ SILVERADO - Boys cross country runner Jonathan Aman won a 2.37-mile race in 14:01 against Rancho. Girls tennis player Katie Barker went 3-0 in singles during a 10-9 victory over Valley.

■ SPRING VALLEY - Football player Brant Berglund threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score in a 28-26 victory over Chaparral.
