HOBBS LEADS GAELS PAST WARRIORS IN GIRLS SOCCER

Mariah Hobbs scored five goals Tuesday to lead Bishop Gorman to a 7-0 win over Western in girls soccer.
Megan Wasiak scored the Gaels' other two goals.
Ali Zaher made five saves to earn the shutout.
• Canyon Springs 3, Desert Pines 2 -- At Desert Pines, Alecs Cook scored her second goal of the match with three minutes to play to break a 2-2 tie and give the Pioneers the victory.
Heather Hollinger also scored for Canyon Springs.
Krystal Contreras and Saira Barajas scored for Desert Pines.
• Bonanza 0, Spring Valley 0 -- At Spring Valley, the Bengals' Michelle Brewer and the Grizzlies' Brenna Benegas each earned a shutout.
Each goalkeeper made seven saves.
• Durango 0, Sierra Vista 0 -- At Sierra Vista, the Trailblazers' Alex Catalfamo and the Lions' Lana Jesic each registered a shutout in goal.
• Las Vegas 2, Eldorado 0 -- At Las Vegas, Kimmie Rader and Stephanie Avila scored in the second half for the Wildcats.
Jaimie Nelson made four saves to earn the shutout.
• Rancho 5, Valley 0 -- At Rancho, Zakiya Bywaters scored twice to help the Rams defeat the Vikings.
Jessica Godwin, Jamsine Henriquez and Mercedes Miramontes each added a goal for Rancho.
