Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 1/8th miles (turf), Purse $59,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 4-year-olds and up
2 Universal Peace - One of two horses in the field that did not exit the Hollywood Derby; reunited with Rafael Bejarano.
1 Juniper Pass - Among the Hollywood Derby graduates, he ran the best; saves all the ground and grinds it out late.
Long Shot - 5 Worth Repeating
Race 2 - 1 1/8th miles, Purse $56,000, Optional claiming $50,000, 4-year-olds and up
2 Oilisblackgold - His two dirt races are awful good; has tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
3 Accelerant - Last out winner is eligible for this condition because he is a Cal-bred; his dirt debut was fine.
Long Shot - 5 Setsuko
Race 3 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
2 Good Acktress - Like the turn back in distance from route to sprint; has enough speed to sit close up.
6 Irenes Jackpot - Tepid chalk in a wide open affair; with only one career start, there is plenty of room for improvement.
Long Shot - 4 Cody's Touchdown
Race 4 - 1 1/8th miles (turf), Purse $34,000, Claiming $32,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
7 Beautiful American - Speedball is a lot better on grass; early speed has been good on both courses, Garrett Gomez on the engine.
3 Americas Dreaming - Pretty good chance an America is going to win this; will stalk the pace and grind it out late.
Long Shot - 5 Granite Girl
Race 5 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $54,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds
5 Jack Reacher - Was flattered when Shred the Secrets won next out; was well bet in an even debut, expect improvement.
2 Los Bomberos - There are 6 FTS in the field; you'll have a big edge over me in seeing the tote board sing.
Long Shot - 7 Denny the Great
Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), Purse $28,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 4-year-olds and up
7 Marcy's Woods - Possible upsetter has a favorable parking lot post; Brice Blanc likes to take back and make one run.
1 No Stadium - Like the horse, hate the rail post down the hillside; like the turn back in distance, will be closing fast.
Long Shot - 4 Fantando
Race 7 - 6 1/2 furlongs, $75,000 San Pedro, 3-year-olds
3 Sinai - Rafael Bejarano had many choices, opted to ride for Bob Baffert; easy decision considering his strike rate.
2 Classic Legacy - Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry, expect one of them to win; takes the blinkers off for this.
Long Shot - 1 Industry Leader
Race 8 - 1 1/4 miles (turf), $150,000 San Marcos, 4-year-olds
6 Bourbon Bay - The longer the grass races got, the better he ran; the light bulb went on for him in 2010.
11 Champ Pegasus - The post Breeders' Cup jinx is more than a jinx; just see Blind Luck losing on Saturday.
Long Shot - 10 Sebastian Flyte
Race 9 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $16,000, Claiming $12,500, 4-year-olds and up
9 Syllabus - Has proven to be a bit head strong; Joel Rosario opted to ride, early speed has been a huge advantage over the dirt.
1 Five a Day - Rafael Bejarano takes over for Joel Rosario; they don't like to duel, so expect one of them to take back.
Long Shot - 4 Make It a Cougar
