Race 2 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

9 Lichtenstein - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; must overcome 7-month vacation.

6 Blazing - Neil Drysdale has been heating up of late; another dropping steep from MSW to maiden claiming.

Long Shot - 4 Battle School

Race 3 - 7 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds

2 Warren's Lover - Dead-late closer has run back-to-back good races; should see plenty of cheap speed to chase.

5 Meter Me Gone - Won first time out, now tries winners for the first time; ran mature with good tactical speed.

Long Shot - 7 Darling Ciana

Race 4 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $44,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds and up

3 Booted - Like the turn back in distance to this turf sprint; figures to sit inside and fire his best shot late.

8 Amazombie - Tepid chalk in an open affair; has good tactical speed for Mike Smith to sit up close and grind it out.

1 Achak - Didn't run much in last, first off the claim by Mike Mitchell; back on synthetics where he's won twice.

Long Shot - 7 Indian Firewater

Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $38,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds

10 Miss Radiance - Owned by radio host Jim Rome of Jungle Racing; ran evenly in well-bet debut, should move forward.

2 Candid Ride - Found her best stride late to finish second at 26/1 odds; won't be nearly that value this afternoon.

Long Shot - 8 River's Mambo

Race 7 - 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $40,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

2 My Boy Walsh - Gary Sherluck uses Rafael Bejarano as his go-to rider; tactical speed to sit a nice trip.

5 Tiz Argent - Dead-late closer won a dramatic last-to-first MSW win; a fast pace really helped his cause.
