Race 2 - 6 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds

3 Timetobegone - Was flattered when Far From the Sun won next out; Bob Baffert babies typically improve with experience.

4 The Zapana - Tepid chalk in a wide-open affair; has shown steady improvement in each of three races.

Long Shot - 1 Forty Paces

Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $26,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

3 It's Not Unusual - Ran a winning race for this class in last; shown improvement off the claim by Dan Hendricks.

6 Uncle Greg - Has improved a lot since being claimed by Jack Carava; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.

Long Shot - 5 No Stadium

3 Lyons Barton - No barn hotter than Kristin Mulhall right now; off the claim, adds blinkers on, the one to beat.

8 Dave's Ruler - May have moved too soon into a fast pace in last; his prior races are clearly fast enough to beat these.

3 Tsunami Warning - The less starts the better at this bottom class; like the rider switch to Rafael Bejarano.

5 Dynamic Range - Field is full of horses on the drop; dead-late closer is vastly shortening up in distance.

1 Swift Winds - Hasn't run for a price tag in some time; main concern is a putrid 0-for-8 over Inglewood lawn.

2 Usurp - Claimed by Mike Machowsky and spotted to win; fine resume at Hollywood, gets P Val for the money shot.

3 Justice Reigns - Been overmatched in recent races; gets Joel Rosario and taking a steep drop in class.

9 Rathman - Speedball may have finally found a no-passing-zone race; clearly the one to catch in the stretch.
