Doppio - Dead late closer has been incredibly useful turf or synthetics; will sit in arrears and make one brush.
Long Shot - Hewitts
Race 2 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $21,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
Cantona - Big rider switch to Joel Rosario for the money shot; had trouble in a key juncture of the race last time.
Camicory - Tepid chalk in a harder-than-looks affair; Rafael Bejarano always gets overbet, seek others for value.
Long Shot - Leyva Man
Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Arkham Asylum - Claimed by Ted West last time; has every right to improve, like that Rafael Bejarano remains loyal.
Maybe Yes - Lost all chance at the start in last; he is inconsistent, but capable of upsetting on his best days.
Long Shot - Stick to the Plan
Race 4 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $34,000, Claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Fire Break - Dead late closer was claimed by the white hot Bill Morey barn; should see plenty of pace to chase.
Hammurabi - Suspect will be the pacesetter despite other speed in the field; saves every inch of ground under Rafael Bejarano.
Long Shot - Kris Silver
Race 5 - 7 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Celebration - Second best in a slow-paced race in last; moving down the claiming ladder has obviously helped her.
Ten's Salty Sally - Tepid chalk exited a good looking maiden claiming win; won't find a softer spot to face winners.
Long Shot - So Hottie
Race 6 - 6 furlongs, Purse $17,600, Maiden claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds and up
Nostalgic Bid - Was flattered when Sufi Dancer won next out; will not find a softer spot to graduate, unless it's in Phoenix.
Roos On the Loose - Getting long in the tooth after 12 tries; still he runs fast enough to get into the number.
Long Shot - Peanut Butter Boy
Race 7 - 6 furlongs, Purse $43,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Imco Spirit - Was rushed badly into a hot pace in last; if Joe Talamo takes his time, outside stalking trip can win it.
Scored - Been away a year, but fits with these classwise; the main question will be his level of fitness.
Long Shot - Mensa Heat
Race 8 - 6 furlongs, $100,000 Landaluce, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Dawnie Macho - Private purchase makes her SoCal debut in a stakes; we know already she likes the synthetic surface.
Belleofthebridle - Flattered when J P's Gusto won a stakes next out; bargain $6K Keeneland purchase is ahead of the game.
