TODAY AT HOLLYWOOD PARK

Post Time 7:05 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $13,000, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Soldier Betty - Vladimir Cerin drops her to the bottom in disgust; he won first out with her, but no races since.
Twodollarstowin - Big rider switch to Joel Rosario; ground saving rail trip, has enough back class to grind out a win.
Long Shot - Dona Mary
Race 2 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Claiming $10,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Cenizo - Rough trip last time under green apprentice rider; Julio Canani switches to Martin Pedroza for the money shot.
Pretty Kinzie - Good third last time while facing much tougher; drops in class and should be grinding in the lane.
Long Shot - Sweet and Jazzy
Race 3 - 5 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Table for One - Made a winning move in last, albeit a stride late; Rafael Bejarano returns, strictly the one to beat.
Leslie Rules - Speedball gets more focus with first time blinkers on tonight; Joel Rosario plays catch me if you can.
Long Shot - Desperate Measures
Race 4 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $41,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
Sammartino - If you're a wrestling fan, you must remember Bruno Sammartino; no idea if this guy is named for him.
Bacara - The Thoroughbred Legends horses have all fired for Bob Baffert; no sense sending out a short horse in here.
Long Shot - Sulution
Race 5 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $44,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Tribal Justice - I don't relish the two favorite, an upset is looming; he has won three times over a synthetic surface.
Isle of Giant's - Not often you see a horse win by more than 16 lengths; sure to be overbet off a monster effort.
Long Shot - Lease of Life
Race 6 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,600, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Sipnzin - Ran great in debut, nothing she could be but settle for second; flattered when Can't Topper won next out.
Sweet Patricia - Grinder has now run second in two straight races; tactical speed to sit mid-pack and grind.
Long Shot - Faith Colleen
Race 7 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), $60,000 Culver City, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Minute Limit - Chased the speedy Unzip Me who set very soft fractions in last; her best category has become turf sprints.
Porto Marmay - Ran well in last off a 2-month hiatus; her specialty too is grass sprints, sits and makes one brush.
Long Shot - Enumclaw Girl
Race 8 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,600, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Joint Adventure - Returns from a 10-month hiatus for new trainer Ron Ellis; well spotted dropping from MSW to maiden claiming.
Make It Mine - Like the subtle turn back in distance tonight; suspect Joel Rosario may take a hold and try to finish.
Long Shot - Misty Miss Joanna
Best Bet - Minute Limit (race 7)
Hollywood Park Thursday - Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 16/6/$38.40; Long Shots, 7/1/$20.0; Best Bet, 1/1/$3.00
Hollywood Park Totals - 709/202/$1,293.40; Long Shots, 347/38/$470.0; Best Bets, 46/28/$112.60
SIMULCAST PICK OF THE DAY - #5 Hobbitontherocks (3/1) in race 5 at Monmouth Park. For scoring purposes, we'll make a hypothetical $2 win, place and show bet, $6 total. On Thursday, Fight For V L T's ran out at Belmont Park. Stats - 120/86/$624.10
