TODAY AT HOLLYWOOD PARK

Post Time 7:05 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $20,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Concerto's Thunder - He is small on winning, but has the best speed figures in the field; may just inherit the victory.
Trulymet'smydaddy - Jack Van Berg has an uncoupled entry; thus keep an eye on the longer priced Fortunate Victory.
Long Shot - Dynamic Host
Race 2 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $41,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
Intuitive Nature - His two turf sprints are both very good; big negative is the parking lot post, wide trip.
Lunada Bay - Bob Baffert only seems like he's winning 50 percent of his starters; adds blinkers on and Rafael Bejarano.
Long Shot - Blazing
Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $21,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Wash Park - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; tactical speed to sit a decent trip.
Big Wags - Tepid chalk in a wide open heat; sure to be overbet with leading rider Rafael Bejarano up.
Long Shot - Lyons Barton
Race 4 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up
Dolrdolrbillyall - Huge class drop from allowance condition to $8K price tag; like that Joel Rosario will ride.
Sidepocket Lou - Consistent sort has run a couple good races for 10-pound bugboy Velazquez; will be grinding late.
Long Shot - Taxi Fleet
Race 5 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $29,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
All Man - Been favored in his last 5 starts; was kind of rushed in last, proven he can win without the lead.
Futuro - Makes his first start since switching barns to Peter Miller; big class drop and new stable can be a wake up call.
Long Shot - Scottish Diamond
Race 6 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $14,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up
Oliver - Ran OK in last, now is dropped in class to the career low level; need not be much to handle these.
Warring Heart - Stretching out in distance from sprint to routes; has the pedigre, by Lion Heart, to keep going.
Long Shot - Romance Is Family
Race 7 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $46,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Rush With Thunder - Exits 4 stakes races for this easier spot; sleeper offers some value at 5/1 odds.
Bruce's Dream - Sure to be overbet with his higher Beyers; tough post in a turf sprint with the dogleg turn.
Long Shot - Hidden Blessing
Race 8 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,600, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Songfoya - Disappointed in last albeit a wide trip from post 11; his race two back is fast enough to upset these.
Silver Style - Like the turn back in distance from route to sprint; figures to be closing in the lane.
Long Shot - Dangerous Curves
Best Bet - Oliver (race 6)
Hollywood Park Thursday - Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 16/6/$38.40; Long Shots, 7/1/$20.0; Best Bet, 1/1/$4.20
Hollywood Park Totals - 709/202/$1,293.40; Long Shots, 347/38/$470.0; Best Bets, 42/24/$96.60
