Post Time 7:05 p.m.
Race 1 - 7 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Pink Diamond - Big class dropper from Beau Greeley; deserving favorite has a major caveat, no early speed.
Miss Anime - Disappointed as the 4/5 chalk in last; big rider switch to Joel Rosario to try and reverse that finish.
Long Shot - Pokomoke
Race 2 - 5 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Queen of Tahoe - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; need not be much to graduate.
Leslie Cash - Tepid chalk in an ugly looking heat; beaten favorite in all 3 of her career starts.
Long Shot - Lucky Sis
Race 3 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $36,000, Claiming $50,000, 3-year-olds and up
Quietly Mine - There are multiple speed types in here; dead late closer could see a positive race shape.
Get Funky - Sliding down the class ladder to the $50K level; he ran at this price tag two races ago and won.
Long Shot - Hewitts
Race 4 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $13,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up
Super Harmony - Speedy sort is better on turf and synthetics; still, this field is so weak, hes the one to beat.
Quarta Coroa - Have to respect the A. C. Avila barn in a spot like this; need not be much for the minor upset.
Long Shot - Premiere Flyer
Race 5 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $42,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
Minister dOro - Like the ground saving inside post 1; Martin Garcia is riding with as much confidence right now as anyone.
Syncobeat - Speedball tactics with the turf rail out 15 feet can work; key is breaking sharply from parking lot post 10.
Long Shot - Dontmesroundwitjim
Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $41,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
Hugs to All - Marty Jones babies definitely improve second time out; was well bet in debut, may show patience tonight.
Wylie N Wyatt - Loses his rider Tyler Baze to the chalk; Victor Espinoza is a very capable substitute.
Long Shot - Dance Marino
Race 7 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $44,000, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
One Mans Delight - Speed and the rail, especially with the rail out 15 feet; none better on the lead than Tyler Baze.
Jacks Wild - Dead late closer is always at the mercy of pace; will sit in arrears and make one big brush.
Long Shot - Danzing Trial
Race 8 - 6 furlongs, Purse $15,600, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Spectacular Slew - In a race this poor, the FTS deserve a second look; Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry in Herzog.
Gold Schleiger - Logical chalk has not started in 13 months; first time for a price tag for returning trainer Jeff Mullins.
Long Shot - Stormy Ambition
Best Bet - Pink Diamond (race 1)
Hollywood Park Wednesday - Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 15/3/$15.00; Long Shots, 7/1/$11.20; Best Bet, 1/1/$5.60
Hollywood Park Totals - 626/175/$1,086.00; Long Shots, 306/33/$377.40; Best Bets, 37/21/$84.60
SIMULCAST PICK OF THE DAY - #6 Woodrunner (5/2) in race 7 at Monmouth Park. For scoring purposes, well make a hypothetical $2 win, place and show bet, $6 total. On Wednesday, Al Muhtasib ran out at Belmont Park. Stats - 111/80/$572.70
