Race 1 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $16,000, Claiming $12,500, 4-year-olds and up
Tiz Afire - Should get a nice stalking trip from a wide post; Marty Jones barn is hotter than hot right now.
James Prior - Tepid chalk in an open race; class rise from $8K is not as big as it seems, key is he's very sharp.
Long Shot - Brinson
Race 2 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $45,000, Maiden special weights, 4-year-olds and up
Quarter Given - Should be good to go either on sod or synthetics; Rafael Bejarano won't take no for an answer.
Champ Pegasus - Ground saving trip for this uncoupled half of a Richard Mandella entry; best stride will come late.
Long Shot - Milyone
Race 3 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Puff This - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; simple tactics, boot and scoot.
Humble Maggie Go - In a race this slow, you need to examine all of the FTS; from the maestro, Jerry Hollendorfer.
Long Shot - Sombre
Race 4 - 6 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Cenizo - Closer should benefit from a positive race shape; expect Garrett Gomez to sit a trip and make one run.
Right to Work - Tepid chalk in a wide open affair; tactical speed to sit close, but not get involved, in a speed duel.
Long Shot - Imperatriz
Race 5 - 6 furlongs, Purse $44,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Appealing Afare - FTS from Bob Baffert has been working ultra fast; she may not want to go far, but she'll go fast.
S C Song Girl - Another working a hole in the wind for trainer Mike Machowsky; watch to tote board for clues.
Long Shot - Merrytagio
Race 6 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $40,000, Starter handicap $40,000, 4-year-olds and up
Kris Silver - Can't imagine they'll run on turf, if they race at all; speedball tactics from the rail.
Spurrier - Dead late closer is at the mercy of the early pace; Joel Rosario sits in arrears to make one run.
Long Shot - Zappa
Race 7 - 1 1/8th miles, $150,000 San Antonio Handicap, 4-year-olds and up
Philatelist - He's a much better horse on synthetics than grass; leap of faith that Rafael Bejarano knows the horse.
Richard's Kid - He's no Zenyatta, but he's not too far back; Bob Baffert expecting a big year out of him.
Long Shot - Furthest Land
Race 8 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds
Roos On the Loose - Third start off a 5-month hiatus; his race two back, if repeated, would crush these.
Move On Up - Beaten favorite was one stride late in last; sure to be overbet again as he has in both career starts.
Long Shot - Rocky Ice
