Race 2 - 6 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds

Word Association - Logical chalk just missed last time facing similar; was flattered when Sandy Cheeks won next out.

Dance the Dance - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; need not be much to compete.

Long Shot - Creme Dela Suances

Race 3 - 1 mile (turf), $50,000 Contested Bid, 3-year-olds

Golden Mexico - Christophe Clement SoCal division is off to a slow start; I still expect him to do well.

Pleasure to Ride - He's earned this stakes chance with bull dog tenacity; will attend the pace and fight late.

Long Shot - Feisty Suances

Race 4 - 6 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up

Ben's Bullet - Been away 6-months; big class dropper, offers solid value at 6/1 odds under Brice Blanc.

Smokenomore - Tepid chalk in a wide open affair; exits a career topper, a repeat of that may be good enough.

Long Shot - Smokey Beau

Megillah - Either of his last two races are fast enough to beat these; like the subtle turn back in distance.

Alphie's Bet - One race experience can be a major helper; was bet in debut, albeit in a 6-horse field.

Lending Freeze - Among 10 FTS in this wide open field; you'll have a big edge of seeing the tote board action.

Long Shot - Lone Justice

Race 7 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $27,000, Claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

Cavanal - Just missed in last for $50K, dropped to $40K today; similar effort makes him the one to beat.
