Gold Image - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; improved a lot last out.

Asanti - Beaten favorite should enjoy the class relief today; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.

Long Shot - She's Very Rare

Race 2 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $14,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up

Big Wave Rider - Just missed last time in first try facing winners; should improve off that experience.

Afleet Bud - Been knocking at the door but like all these has just one winner's photo; will be grinding late.

Long Shot - Push Send

Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $50,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up

Grazen - Choice in a tight fit among five; stretches out around 2-turns for the first time.

Smooth and Savvy - He's big on cashing paychecks, but not on winning; suspect Gomez makes a late run.

Long Shot - Ukiah

Race 4 - 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $48,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up

Raingear - Big class relief and good turf sprints point to a live one; must overcome a difficult post.

Slam Slew - Speedy sort must clear Living Word and Sognatore, if possible; should be a quick pace.

Long Shot - Sognatore

Race 5 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Brilliant Response - Among a few taking the biggest class drop in racing; faced much better at Del Mar.

Extended - Sight unseen since a horror show at Hollywood a year ago; drops from MSW to maiden claiming.

Long Shot - Eclipse Syrah

Race 6 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $32,000, Claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds and up

Bad Boy - Tepid chalk in a difficult race on paper; suspect the winner will manage a perfect trip.

Tent - He's not big on winning, but runs good numbers for this reduced class; surprise at a square price.

Long Shot - Rhetorically

Race 7 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds and up

Nikki'sgoldensteed - Tight squeeze in a field where all 6 can win it; saves ground under Victor Espinoza.

Valiant Effort - Sliding down the claiming ladder to this new low level; will be slugging it out late.

Long Shot - Yankee Visionary

Race 8 - 1 1/16th miles, $150,000, Milady Handicap, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Zenyatta - The best distaffer in the country resides here; only thing that can beat her is rust.

Life Is Sweet - She would be a #1 in any barn but the John Shirreffs stable; she just keeps improving.

Long Shot - Dawn After Dawn

Race 9 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Storm the Church - Jeff Mullins is taking time to fight the law back in New York; strictly the one to beat.

Dreamalong - Dead late closer seems to get into gear too little, too late; meets a softer group today.
