Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $46,000, Claiming $62,500, 4-year-olds and up
Vega's Lord - Big class drop makes him a sneaky good pick in here; well regarded when he first came to the U.S.
Sensational Score - Third start off a 3-month hiatus; Mike Mitchell has an uncoupled entry, eyeball Plug Me In.
Long Shot - Our Partner
Race 2 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $14,000, Claiming $10,000, 4-year-olds
Norco Pal - Sliding down the claiming ladder to this very winable spot; closing fastest in the lane.
Turn to the King - Chalk bounced to the moon in last after a big win two back; that race, if repeated, kills these.
Long Shot - Crimson Star
Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds
New Bay - Big MSW win shown by 6-lengths clear to the third finisher; 5-weeks to overcome the big exertion.
Princeandrew - Was overmatched last time in the San Pedro; his race two back puts him right there with these.
Long Shot - Luckiest Man
Race 4 - 1 mile, Purse $21,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Singita - Did everything but win last time and at a higher class; rail post at one mile is a nice advantage.
Flash Dance - Rafael Becerra takes the blinkers off for this; running style suggest she should stretch out OK.
Long Shot - Dixie Lucky
Race 5 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $52,000, Allowance, 4-year-olds and up
Cat Brulay - Ran one paced down the hill, that doesn't get it done on turf; Vienna takes the blinkers off, good move.
Temple Cat - Rough trip when clipped heels into the first turn, then Bejarano protected him, has lots of talent.
Long Shot - Smooth and Savvy
Race 6 - 6 furlongs, Purse $32,000, Maiden claiming $100,000, 3-year-olds
Gretsky - Ran a better than looked race in debut; Neil Drysdale babies are deadly when using first time on Lasix.
Dubai Rainbow - His last 3 races are all pretty good for this class; move up if Princeandrew wins in race 3.
Long Shot - Fiery Rebel
Race 7 - 7 furlongs, $150,000 San Vicente, 3-year-olds
Evita Argentina - Filly versus colts, John Sadler knows what he's doing; she is proven best as a closing sprinter.
Leedstheway - Two sharp wins point this one out; gelding him early probable made the difference, very high ceiling.
Long Shot - Wall Street Wonder
Race 8 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 8 feet), $150,000 Buena Vista Handicap, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Modern Look - Her job will be easier after many scratches; group 1 filly is another potential Bobby Frankel superstar.
Trouble Maker - I expect her to draw in after scratches; she offers a ton of value and will be overlooked.
Long Shot - Foxysox
Race 9 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Drama Cat - Like the turn back in distance; Garrett Gomez doesn't ride too many cheap races, this must be good.
Classic Demand - Ran a much improved race in last and from parking lot post 11; Peter Eurton having a great meet.
Long Shot - Joint Agreement
Best Bet - Modern Look (race 8)

SIMULCAST PICK OF THE DAY - #6 Crowninshield (9/2) in race 6 at Philadelphia Park. For scoring purposes, we'll make a hypothetical $2 win, place and show bet. On Sunday, E.F.F. Sher ran second at Tampa and paid $4.00 to place and $2.80 to show. Stats - 10/8/$51.30
