Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 1/4 miles (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $52,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up
Dynamelt - Eastern underachiever makes his first start for Mike Mitchell; if he has any talent, he'll show it in this barn.
Oceanography - Tepid chalk was a no excuse second last time; the main positive is he'll save every inch of ground.
Long Shot - Cavanal
Race 2 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $33,000, Claiming 440,000, 3-year-olds
The Bat Signal - Beat many of these two races ago under Rafael Bejarano; figures to get another good trip here.
Trainspotting - Tepid chalk was claimed last time from Mike Mitchell; key will be if he keeps his form for Jack Carava.
Long Shot - Bowie At Saratoga
Race 3 - 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $60,000, 4-year-olds and up
Attempted Humor - Definitely a long winded sort who shows an affinity for grass; high ceiling with his nice pedigree.
Trimaran - Vulnerable favorite in a wide open turf route; Bobby Frankel could not have been happy losing last time.
Long Shot - Safety Zone
Race 4 - 6 furlongs, Purse $44,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Runway Starlet - Experience means a lot in these baby races; she gets a big rider switch to Bejarano for the money shot.
High Note - FTS from Dan Hendricks has drawn murmurs in the a.m.; suspect that news will tilt the tote in the afternoon.
Long Shot - Dona Mary
Race 5 - 1 mile, Purse $16,000, Claiming $12,500, 4-year-olds and up
Boule d'Or - Jeff Mullins has made $200K since claiming him for $50K a year ago; for sale sign is up, but no takers.
Outrageous Limit - Sharp win last time after chasing Boule d'Or two races ago; he could easily turn the tables today.
Long Shot - Waive Liability
Race 6 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Claiming $10,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Asian Eyes - Mare won for $$16K two races back, so this has to be easier; enough speed to sit a trip and grind late.
Suva - Unknown Hastings shipper is anchored down in class by Ted West; leap of faith that she'll be live today.
Long Shot - Zaya
Race 7 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $56,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 4-year-olds and up
Gaspar Van Wittel - Was asked to close from last into an incredibly slow paced race; flattered when Bonjour won right back.
Fluke - There is no telling how good this one will be; suspect the tote board could be singing his praises early on.
Long Shot - Ghetto
Race 8 - 1 1/16th miles, $150,000 El Encino, Fillies, 4-year-olds
Lethal Heat - Synthetic surface lover will offer a lot of value in a wide open race; figures to sit close to the pace.
Country Star - Logical chalk also has an enviable synthetic surface resume; Bobby Frankel has always liked her talent.
Long Shot - Miss Singhsix
Race 9 - 1 mile, Purse $16,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Inoplov - Failed in MSW up in NoCal in a race that supposed to be on grass; returns to synthetic where she ran great two back.
Drama Cat - Logical chalk stretches out around 2-turns for the first time; will be overbet with Garrett Gomez up.
Long Shot - Tiz Salsa
Best Bet - Asian Eyes (race 6)
