Race 1 - 6 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Claiming $16,000, 4-year-olds
You Is What You Is - Second start off the claim by the maestro Jerry Hollendorfer; should see a hot pace to chase.
Exotic Story - Speedball was overmatched in last and faltered; his race two back is fast enough to upset these.
Long Shot - Khun Dan
Race 2 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $45,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Lady Lumberjack - Like the turn back in distance to today’s sprint; will sit a trip and fire late for Rafael Bejarano.
White Lamb - Would not be surprised to see a Bejarano-Gomez stretch duel; had a rough trip in last, needs clear sailing.
Long Shot - Shiksa
Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $25,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds
Joe Carl - Claimed off a maiden claiming win by Jerry Hollendorfer; former Cerin charge looks like he can run.
Tap Tap I Win - Grinding second last time in a similar spot; logical chalk, faces no world beaters in here.
Long Shot - Aquicksting
Race 4 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $45,000, Maiden special weights, 4-year-olds and up
Wharf Cat - Rail horse lost to two good colts in Trumpet Player Jay and Temple City; David Flores sends from the wood.
Holladay Road - Tepid chalk in a race you’ll have an edge; watch the tote board and see where the money is going.
Long Shot - Adebayor
Race 5 - 7 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Claiming $10,000, 4-year-olds and up
Common Trust - For Garrett Gomez to ride in a bottom level claimer, he expects an easy win; Jeff Mullins special.
Extreme Notice - Would not be shocked if this race upset the apple cart; third start off a 5-month hiatus.
Long Shot - Palamoun
Race 6 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $52,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds
Kelly Leak - Gets class relief to face first level allowance foes today; has shown an affinity for the grass.
Oil Man - Also gets class relief from two stakes for this NW1X; big rider switch to Garrett Gomez signals intent.
Long Shot - Arashi Cat
Race 7 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $47,000, Optional claiming $80,000, Cal-breds, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Hudler - Ran like a FTS with big plans on her mind; she has the pedigree to handle more ground, exciting prospect.
Yodelady O - Exits by far the toughest test in the Sunshine Millions Oaks; Gomez sits a trip and fires late.
Long Shot - Chalula One
Race 8 - 1 1/2 miles (turf, rail at 8 feet), $150,000 San Luis Obispo Handicap, 4-year-olds and up
Zambezi Sun - On reputation alone, he looks like a monster for Bobby Frankel; group 1 horse has a huge upside.
Church Service - Has not gone favored since claimed by Mike Mitchell; has won about $330K all in stakes races.
Long Shot - Artiste Royal
Race 9 - 6 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Kentucky Nectar - Just missed in debut and Gomez decides to ride back; should move forward from the race experience.
Captivating Lyrics - Logical contender may have moved prematurely in last for Joe Talamo; she could improve too.
Long Shot - Tripped Fuse
Best Bet - Zambezi Sun (race 8)
