Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 - 6 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds
Going Forward - Was able to last and win due to a more sensible early pace; suspect he can dictate the pace again.
Suit Yourself - Logical chalk dropped way down in class to win; beat Going Forward who bounced right back to win.
Long Shot - Friendly Half
Race 2 - 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $30,000, Claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds
Rumba Along - Kristin Mulhall puts the for sale sign up; still she's in it to win it with Chantal Sutherland.
Rhetorically - Logical chalk keeps sliding down the claiming ladder; switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot.
Long Shot - Funny Me
Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $24,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
If Not For You - Graduate was in controlling shape from start to finish; a repeat race would crush these.
Gentlemen's Crown - Another who just graduated and may like it; Alex Solis figures to sit and make one run.
Long Shot - Rapid Goose
Race 4 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $36,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Precious Union - She has been highly thought of but can't get over the hump; figures to come grinding late.
Surprises Welcomed - 5-for-5 in the money, but no photo session yet; offers some value at her 9/2 odds.
Long Shot - A Flicker of Light
Race 5 - 6 furlongs, Purse $10,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up
Bullya - Has go get 'em early speed and could boss from the outset; makes sense in a no passing zone field.
Sure Thing Eva - Deep closer drops to the lowest class level of his life; second start off a 9-month hiatus.
Long Shot - Orientation Hall
Race 6 - 6 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $62,500, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Wilma Rules - She needs to find her comfort level and I think today is it; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
Captivating Lyrics - FTS gets the ultimate vote of confidence, from Bejarano; watch the tote for clues.
Long Shot - Latego Light
Race 7 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $41,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Banner Lodge - Just missed for Gomez, now Mike Smith takes his shot; last race was fast enough to beat these.
Candy Pull - The rail is advantageous in these turf sprints; he has enough speed to protect his inside position.
Long Shot - Mind the Minister
Race 8 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $12,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Captain Quick - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; will be grinding late.
Firm Approval - Good showing in debut when he outran his high odds; will sit off the pace of Kearns Prints.
Long Shot - Kearns Prints
