TODAY AT HOLLYWOOD PARK

Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $19,000, Claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds
Hiatus - Big class drop to face a very modest field; Ron Ellis takes the blinkers off so he'll relax better.
Fantasy Free - Did everything but win last time in a solid try; note he is moving up from a condition claimer.
Long Shot - Shelter Island
Race 2 - 6 furlongs, Purse $12,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Thankfully - Closer finds a lot of cheap speed to set her up; won't take much ability to beat these.
Saugatuck River - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; good tactical speed.
Long Shot - Snooty Gal
Race 3 - 7 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Claiming $32,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Silent Kitten - Exits a key race and has been rested for 3-months; Joel Rosario is riding with much vigor.
Warren's Dreaming - Favorite in a wide open affair; Rafael Bejarano takes over for vacationing Garrett Gomez.
Long Shot - Jody's Included
Race 4 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $39,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Excitement - Been stuck at this level a long time, she is overdue; third start off a 2-month sabbatical.
Tripped the Light - Just missed in her last two tries for Bejarano; faces similar and figures right there.
Long Shot - Love to Siphon
Race 5 - 6 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Ukiah - He has shown that he doesn't need the lead to succeed; major class relief can only help his chances.
Cajun Corredor - Parking lot post but class drop points him out; note that Bejarano is reunited with him.
Long Shot - Black Hills
Race 6 - 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $36,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds
Captain Kelli - Figures to get a nice ground saving trip, important in turf sprints; be along in time.
Oscar Bound - Tough post, but he figures to improve a lot second time out; was finishing OK in debut.
Long Shot - Dubai Rainbow
Race 7 - 6 furlongs, Purse $38,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
King City Kitty - Bejarano rides nothing but live runners; he should be able to carve a nice stalking trip.
Dizzy Up the Girl - Claimed by Jerry Hollendorfer off a sharp win for Jeff Mullins; plenty left in the tank.
Long Shot - Tamerin
Race 8 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $37,000, Claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds
Cee Bargara - Rough trip last time is not fully documented in the PPs; offers some value on the class drop.
Icemancometh - Mike Mitchell gives up awful soon on this Irish import; plenty of speed to hug the rail.
Long Shot - Tommys Luck
Race 9 - 1 1/16th miles, $429,500 Hollywood Starlet, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Alpha Kitten - I think the BC can take something out of a young horse; John Sadler is sitting on a bomb.
Laragh - She ran fast and hard in a terrific BC third; at a short price, we'll see what it took out of her.
Long Shot - Dave's Revenge
Race 10 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $14,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Play Nine - Gary Sherluck is a very underrated trainer; he claimed this filly from red-hot Brian Koriner.
Warrensmysterydice - Taking a small, but significant, drop in class; need not be much to be competitive.
Long Shot - Moon Moment
Best Bet - Silent Kitten (race 3)
Hollywood Friday- Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 16/5/$32.80; Long Shots, 8/1/$9.00; Best Bet, 1/1/$3.40
Hollywood Totals - 533/144/$973.80; Long Shots, 272/31/$318.80; Best Bets, 31/15/$56.20
