TODAY AT HOLLYWOOD PARK

Post Time 1:20 p.m.
Race 1 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $62,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Sleepin In - Speedball will be aided by the temporary turf rail out 10 feet; the race shape appears to favor her too.
Solar Miss - Logical chalk draws a parking lot post, which today will hurt her by a couple lengths; must not dilly dally.
Race 1 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $25,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
B. A. Homebody - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; takes weight off and blinkers on.
Dixieland Classic - Making the surface switch from turf to synthetic; tactical speed to sit a nice trip for Tyler Baze.
Long Shot - Zanda Blue
Race 2 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $61,000, Allowance, 4-year-olds and up
Bleu Intense - Classy Bobby Frankel returns from a 10-month hiatus; suspect this is a prep for a Del Mar turf stakes.
All Man - Will be tested for class, appears to have the best current form; he may lead early over Albertus Maximus.
Long Shot - Knockout Artist
Race 3 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Closing Steps - Exits a key race where Emmy Darling and Glitter City ran 1-2 in a stakes; will take some beating.
Stormy Inferno - Was bet heavily in debut and did a classic pop and stop; Periban adds blinkers on for this.
Long Shot - Lady Schnapps
Race 4 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $27,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds
Polish Pete - Has adapted to a come from behind style in a big way; should see plenty of early pace to do his best.
Tribal Mischief - Claimed by Rafael Becerra and double dropped in class; adds Alex Solis who he is very hot with.
Long Shot - Drewismyson
Race 5 - 6 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Chicks Rule - Surprising drop in class off a good effort; key for me is Rafael Bejarano remains loyal to the cause.
Silver Chai - Just broke her maiden, finally after 12 tries, but sometimes they figure it out; will be running late.
Long Shot - Red Lollipop
Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Enchanting Moment - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; she won't find an easier spot.
Love and War - Have to respect a Bobby Frankel, even if it is a cull; need not be much horse to compete with these.
Long Shot - Halo's Clean Sheet
Race 7 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $51,000, Allowance, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
Put It in Writing - Reunited with Tyler Baze who rode him great two races ago; should be able to sit off the speed.
Dr. Skimming - There are multiple speedballs in here, so we'll see who's the boss; really took to turf last time.
Long Shot - Partywithlarryz
Race 8 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 2-year-olds
Tudor Blue - Chance to improve second time out, and at a square price; this is a stable that likes to bet too.
Lidstrom - FTS from the Craig Dollase barn; he's great at popping first time, facing a suspect field in debut.
Long Shot - Speaking
Best Bet - Closing Steps (race 3)
