Matty's G Force - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
Left Unsaid - Bobby Frankel cull is taking the same class drop as the favorite; Rafael Bejarano has not missed a beat.
Long Shot - Buzzin Mon
Race 2 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $36,000, 4-year-olds and up
Quest Venture - Speedball will be aided by the turf rail out 20 feet; regardless, speed has done well on grass this meet.
Quasimodo - Give kudos to Wesley Ward for the great job he's done with the veteran; will sit in arrears and make one run.
Long Shot - Waltz Time
Race 3 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $11,000, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Topper's Smiling - Third start off an 8-month hiatus can signal a positive cycle; has tons of back class to rely upon.
Excessive Tale - Tepid chalk has been away 7-month since claimed by Frank Monteleone; has a huge shot if she's in one piece.
Long Shot - Kachina Dream
Race 4 - 7 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Malabar Star - Filly ran a big race two back for Garrett Gomez to break her maiden; ran evenly in last, chance to rebound.
Inspiration Within - Finished in the money in her last 7 starts; consistent, but doesn't say much about her killer instinct.
Long Shot - King City Kitty
Race 5 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 20 feet), $62,000 El Segundo, 4-year-olds and up
Giovanni - Speedball crashed and burned last time in the San Simeon; any faults then will be plusses over this turf course.
Unusual Suspect - Dead late closer has one way of going so he'll sit and make one run; second start off a 4-month hiatus.
Long Shot - Bestdressed
Race 6 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Master Cat - Ran a cropper last time after a strong try two races ago; takes a subtle, but significant, drop in class.
Happy Prayer - Claimed by Craig Lewis last out; first thing he does is add blinkers on, takes weight off with bugboy Campos.
Long Shot - Cavanaugh
Race 7 - 6 furlongs, Purse $51,000, Allowance, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Lighten Up Rule - Claimed by Jeff Mullins, have every reason to expect improvement tonight; Tyler Baze is riding in top form.
Quid Non - Speedball is turning back in distance; underrated Richard Rosales could provide a small upset on the front end.
Long Shot - Mama Knows Best
Race 8 - 7 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Dreams Afleet - At this low class level, often times the less start the better; could improve second time out for Cerin.
Ms. Manhattan Jack - Leap of faith that Jack Carava off the claim will be live; adds blinkers on and The Mig stays loyal.
