Race 1 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $13,000, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

Sting'n Inthe Rain - Was flattered in last when La Mandonna won right back; she stretches out for the first time in a while.

Helmsgold - Gave a good account of herself in last dropping down to this bottom class level; tactical speed to sit a trip.

Long Shot - Bold Cleo

Race 2 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up

Evolution - Speedy sort figures to dictate the early pace; big class drop from open $10k to a NW2L condition claimer.

Mike's Trippin - Poor start put him behind the eight ball last time; easier task, figures to stalk midpack and rally late.

Long Shot - Umber

Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $57,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Down - Just missed last time for Bobby Frankel, now is stretched back out around 2-turns; not exactly a win machine though.

Honored Gold - Tepid chalk in a pretty tough opener to the pick 6, carryover of $172k; Mike Mitchell barn is really firing.

Long Shot - Look Deep

Race 4 - 5 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, 2-year-olds

Albacore Bob - There was a time when Turf Paradise shippers were badly outclassed, not any more; first time over Cushion track.

Got Alot Going - Looks best among the few with racing experience; ran evenly in last first time for a claiming price.

Long Shot - Delaware Doe

Race 5 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $39,000, Claiming $50,000, 4-year-olds and up

Ocean Grand - Small edge in another difficult race; he has a lot of early speed, but may not want to duel with Ghosttrapper.

One On the House - With Ghosttrapper the logical leader, Bejarano could sit on the rail in second; saves all the ground here.

Long Shot - Toasted

Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up

The Unclean Spirit - Note that he is taking a class drop from an open $8k to a NW2L restricted claimer; wide open affair.

Wild McDreamie - I don't normally like graduates, but he exited a productive key race; has improved a lot over synthetics.

Long Shot - Twin Turbo

Race 7 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $53,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 3-year-olds

Afleet Ruler - Will be the shortest odds favorite in today's pick 6; he's a single for many due to many recent classy races.

Funny Me - Gets modest class relief dropping from the Pasadena for this open optional claimer; Solis will sit and make one run.

Long Shot - Guts

Race 8 - 5 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds

Veranda Cafe - This is a stable and barn that likes to win first time out; note that they hire the main man Rafael Bejarano.

Candilejas - The last leg of the pick 6 is fraught with danger; so many FTS, you have the advantage of seeing the tote board.

Long Shot - Stardom Bound

Best Bet - Sting'n Inthe Rain (race 1)
