TODAY AT HOLLYWOOD PARK

Post Time 1 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $44,000, Claiming $50,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
1 Startjumpin Marnie - She hasn't run this cheap in quite some time; tiny edge by saving ground throughout.
3 Farley Star - The two favorites met on Jan. 7 at SA and were a head apart; could be that close again here.
Long Shot - 2 Bab At The Bowster
Race 2 - 6 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, 3-year-olds and up
4 Private Bounty - Among many taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; exits a key race.
8 Meadow Road - Has underachieved by not passing horses in the deep stretch; exits a quick bullet workout.
Long Shot - 6 Screaming Destiny
Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
8 Queen Mariles - Mike Mitchell off the claim is a very good thing; he has an uncoupled entry so caveat emptor.
4 Cato Major - Been second four straight races off the claim by Jack Carava; dead-late closer will need some pace.
Long Shot - 6 Desert Flight
Race 4 - 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $52,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 3-year-olds
1 Cloud Man - Suspect he has the most upside of any in the field; saves ground under Corey Nakatani.
2 Great Warrior - Tepid chalk in a wide-open affair; beat my choice last time mainly with a better trip.
Long Shot - 7 Boxeur des Rues
Race 5 - 7 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up
6 Point Mugu - Like the turn back in distance for this elongated sprint; adding blinkers on and drops in class.
8 Our Senior Moments - Tepid chalk is among the few who ran well in last; flattered when Every Ego won next out.
Long Shot - 9 Princethefifth
Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $35,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
6 Dime - Rough trip in last and could rebound at a square price; more than capable of upsetting these.
7 Requisition - Logical chalk in another wide-open affair; cashed a paycheck in each of his last four starts.
Long Shot - 4 Big Burly Boy
Race 7 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $50,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
9 Roxanne O - Has lost twice at 4/1 odds, now you can get her at 10/1; too early to give up on her yet.
5 Artuya - Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry trying turf for the first time; this gal is the shorter odds.
Long Shot - 7 Sea Song's Grace
Race 8 - 6 furlongs, $100,000 Los Angeles Handicap, 3-year-olds and up
1 Amazombie - Does not get the respect for running some fabulous sprint wins; suspect will leave to protect his post.
7 Cost of Freedom - Speedball tactics from a parking lot post for the chalk; 8-YO has always loved Hollywood Park.
Long Shot - 6 Supreme Summit
Race 9 - 1 1/8th miles (turf), $250,000 Gamely, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
1 Eclair de Lune - Ran a much-better-than-looked race in last at Keeneland; big value play at 12/1 odds.
2 Cozi Rosie - Tepid chalk in an evenly-matched field; the winner will likely have the best trip of all.
Long Shot - 3 Turning Top
Race 10 - 7 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up
10 Expensive Pens - The less races the better at this bottom class level; he has a chance still to improve.
7 Clocker Moment - He's had 11 chances, but he is fast enough to win; hope you spread if live in the pick 6.
Long Shot - 8 Eyesablazin
Best Bet - 1 Eclair de Lune (race 9)
Hollywood Park Sunday - Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 18/4/$22.20; Long Shots, 9/3/$26.80; Best Bet, 1/1/$3.00
Hollywood Park Totals - 408/108/$755.80; Long Shots, 196/34/$314.80; Best Bets, 23/8/$33.40
SIMULCAST PICK OF THE DAY - 11 Tizway (5/1) in race 10 at Belmont Park. For scoring purposes, we'll make a hypothetical $2 win, place and show bet, $6 total. On Sunday, Ruthenia was scratched at Monmouth Park. Stats - 87/53/$403.30
