Iza General - Was outclassed last time in the Cal Cup, gets big time class relief today; Mullins always spots them to win.
Apalachee Tiger - Speedball has shown in the past he does not need the lead to succeed; will see heat from Trail Mix.

Oceanus - Did not run a step last time, but reverts down in class to where he last won; dead late closer will be finishing.
Smoocher - Another closer who should enjoy tonight's class relief; Talamo needs to re-establish himself quickly.

Forever Irish - Speedball figures to try and dominate the race early; the key will be who wants to mix it up with him early.
Fifth Base - Sight unseen for 4-months, but showed some talent in prior Hollywood attempts; Baze will give him every chance.

Kalgoorlie - Ran well in his U.S. debut and can be taken to improve today; was Group placed in England, shows class.
Palladian General - Has paired wins as well as three straight solid turf efforts; Talamo will sit a trip and fire late.
