Queen Holly - FTS from the Cerin barn attracts leading bugboy Talamo for debut; need not be much to get into the mix here.
Long Shot - Debating Society
Race 2 - 7 furlongs, Purse $51,000, Optional claiming $62,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Quiet Kim - Back class filly tries to regroup in this elongated sprint; Hess taking the blinkers off, she'll be firing late.
So Long Sonoma - A misconception is a closing sprinter appreciates more distance; they actually tend to lose their closing kick.
Long Shot - Bosset
Race 3 - 1 1/8th miles, Purse $13,000, Claiming $8,000, 4-year-olds and up
Plan for Fun - Potts sat chilly chasing a suicide pace in last; his top two races were both at this bottom level claiming.
Black Horse Money - May be a good race to try and beat the chalk; Miyadi is a top NoCal trainer, opts to run him down here.
Long Shot - Traffic Update
Race 4 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Coyote Fast - Ran like a short horse last time in return off a one year sabbatical; tactical speed to sit a close up trip.
Tony Montana - Dead late closer gave a strong effort down the hillside turf course last time; like the rider switch to Talamo.
Long Shot - Pressthepace
Race 5 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $51,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Power Shift - Ran miserably in last, but that will only help his odds today; his race two back is fast enough to upset these.
Get Off the Sugar - Logical chalk has paired up a couple good races in a row; has tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
Long Shot - Oliver Twisted
Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $46,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Lt. Lorraine - Showed solid improvement in second career start; big rider switch to hot riding Baze, improves another step.
Bench Wench - Ran well in debut while facing a much softer group than she faces today; Nakatani has that hungry look again.
Long Shot - Perfectly Sweet
Race 7 - 6 1/2 furlongs, $75,000 Honest Lady Handicap, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Into Reality - Gets tested for class today after winning a softer NoCal stakes; she appears to be developing nicely for Baffert.
Coco Belle - Regroups after falling apart in the Railbird last time; she is a speedball, which can be harsh over Cushion track.
Long Shot - You Are the Answer
Race 8 - 6 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds and up
Rydell - Was given a test drive last time, expect much better today; was given four works since, figures to come flying late.
Our Papa Joe - Ran the worst race of his life last time out, that'll only boost his odds today; like that Talamo takes over.
