Bridled Honey - Speedball has simple tactics of going as fast and as far as she can; class level in her comfort zone.

Long Shot - High Speed Goldie

Race 2 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $18,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, 2-year-olds

Sportsbookjunkee - Mullins charge taking a small, but significant, drop in class; Gryder can stalk the pace effectively.

Big Dude - Another big class dropper, this one from the Mitchell barn; has room to improve even more and upset today.

Long Shot - Cee's the Answer

Race 3 - 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $31,000, Claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Newport Topper - P Val has a chance to sit a perfect inside trip and rally late; third start off a 2-month sabbatical.

Udriga - Speedball won for $50k, now is dropped in for $40k; red flag move, but if she's right she'll take some beating.

Long Shot - Butterfly Belle

Race 4 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Pinata - Dead late closer should see a wicked pace to close into; this is class relief compared to stakes she's run in.

Downthedustyroad - Speedball may face a big obstacle in Dearest Trickski; if the two buzzsaw duel, others will benefit.

Long Shot - Ex Caelis

Race 5 - 6 furlongs, Purse $42,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds

Hoods Up - Baffert has an uncoupled entry in here so be wary of the longer price; had a troubled debut up in NoCal.

Victory Pete - Logical chalk in a race fraught with danger; found his best stride too late, but has questions marks.

Long Shot - Nate

Race 6 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $36,000, Claiming $50,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

Onida - Small edge in one of the toughest races on the card; Gomez is not riding many horses, but all of them are live.

Hello Bolly - Mullins charge takes a small class drop in search of victory; will sit midpack and try to make her move late.

Long Shot - Queen of the Darby

Race 7 - 6 furlongs, Purse $42,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds

McArthur - Carava newcomer ran well in debut at Calder; South Florida imports have a history of running well in SoCal.

Sangaree - Half-brother to Grade 1 winner Congaree, colt is bred to be any kind of animal; watch the tote board for clues.

Long Shot - Rate of Change

Race 8 - 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $48,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Queens Full - Clement stable figures to make a lot of noise this winter; draw a line through last, she's better on grass.

Elinvar - Logical chalk figures to get way overbet off a spectacular looking debut; who knows, she may be this good.

Long Shot - Scarlet Love

Race 9 - 1 1/16th miles, $100,000 Real Quiet, 2-year-olds

Gallon - Figures to lose respect due to Northwest resume; has solid 2-turn experience and the ultimate vote of Gomez.

Colonel John - Logical chalk has looked real good in both his career starts; has the unknown of first 2-turn race ever.

Long Shot - Overextended

Race 10 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Maiden claiming $62,500, Fillies, 2-year-olds

Stage Sensation - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to claiming; figures to stalk and grind it out late.

Swishing Tiger - Among the FTS, this one gets Gomez and is bred to be quick; watch the tote board for additional clues.

Long Shot - Come Back Girl
