Long Shot - Ghosttrapper

Race 2 - 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $75,000, Optional claiming $100,000, 3-year-olds and up

Artiste Royal - Drysdale takes over the training of this back class horse; been away 9-months, he could still win on class.

Lucky J. H. - Was too fresh last time in his return from a 14-month hiatus; if Espinoza can rein him in some, it'll help.

Long Shot - Mr. Katz

Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $18,000, Claiming $10,000, 4-year-olds and up

Totally Platinum - Conlon horses have all be outrunning their odds of late; this drop down could upset the field by memory.

Plan For Fun - First time Monteleone, be it by claim or barn switch, is a good bet angle; like that leading rider Baze is up.

Long Shot - Kingdom Come

Race 4 - 1 mile, Purse $63,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Temperance - Been knocking at the door of this first level condition; off the turf angle, should handle the Polytrack too.

Film Editor - Dead late closer from the highly respected Sherman barn; Talamo, who has gone ice cold, is taking over today.

Long Shot - Purrfectly Fitting

Race 5 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Soda Pop Syd - If you are a forgiving handicapper, this filly has a puncher's chance; beaten chalk, her race two back is OK.

Happyhour Atthebrig - Logical chalk has an unflattering 0-for-18 career resume; she may hit the exacta, but at short odds.

Long Shot - Levitate

Race 6 - 6 furlongs, Purse $53,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up

Orientate Slew - FTS from Becerra has the pedigree to be quick and precocious; exits a bullet work, watch the tote for clues.

Wild Diplomat - Was flattered when Barbeque Eddie won easily next time out; has a good style of waiting and pouncing late.

Long Shot - Tizsong

Race 7 - 1 mile, $125,000 Torrey Pinces, Fillies, 3-year-olds

Silver Swallow - Tiny edge in a very difficult race; dead late closer will hope for some macho dueling on the front end.

Seaside Affair - Could top off a nice meet for Sadler with an upset win today; the Mig, too, has come up big in rich stakes.

Long Shot - Ask Sam

Race 8 - 6 furlongs, Purse $53,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds

Catch Candy - Gets in off the also eligible, may get overlooked by many; can get a cozy outside trip tracking the speed.

La Mina - Tactical speed to sit a nice trip just off the pacesetters; Baze apparently will win another SoCal riding title.

Long Shot - Gentle Audrey

Race 9 - 1 1/8th miles (turf), $400,000 Del Mar Derby, 3-year-olds

Bleu Intense - I like the imports in this wide open affair; Frankel colt is a private purchase by Tanaka, can be any kind.

Stoneside - Canani import has an many possibilities as Blue Intense; showed his class when second in a French group 1 race.

Long Shot - Souvenir Slew

Race 10 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $32,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

Brother Man - If you're live in the pick 4 or pick 6, I hope you're spread here; beaten chalk ran great two races back.

Ready Say Go - Third start off a 9-month hiatus could be his best; tactical speed to sit a trip, best stride will come late.
