Bengals release receiver Henry after latest arrest

Cincinnati receiver Chris Henry was cut by the Bengals while in jail awaiting arraignment on assault charges Thursday. The arrest was his fifth since 2005.

An attorney for Henry, 24, entered not guilty pleas for him in Cincinnati after Henry was accused of punching an 18-year-old man in the face and breaking his car window with a beer bottle.

Bond was set at $51,000 on charges of misdemeanor assault and criminal damaging. Noting Henry's prior arrests involving drugs, guns and alcohol, Municipal Court Judge Bernie Bouchard called Henry "a one-man crime wave." He ordered electronic monitoring if Henry makes bail.

Also: Jacksonville coach Jack Del Rio signed a five-year contract extension, after leading the Jaguars to an 11-5 record and a first-round playoff victory last season. Terms weren't disclosed.

The UNLV-Wyoming football game, the Rebels' 2008 season finale originally scheduled for Nov. 15, has been moved to Nov. 13 so it can be televised nationally by CBS College Sports Network. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Sam Boyd Stadium.
