ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Elliot Johnson singled home the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth inning Wednesday night to give the International League a 2-1 win over the Pacific Coast League in the Triple A All-Star game at Coca-Cola Park.
The two teams combined for nine hits. The International League had only four hits, but three came in a two-run rally in the sixth against Round Rock's Josh Banks.
Louisville's Chris Valaika led off with a double down the left-field line, and two batters later scored the tying run when Chase Lambin of Syracuse doubled to the gap in right center.
Johnson followed with a single to left to bring home Lambin.
Las Vegas infielder Jarrett Hoffpauir, a late addition to the PCL team, started and went 1-for-3 with a walk, and 51s catcher J.P. Arencibia also started and was 0-for-2. Las Vegas first baseman Brett Wallace and outfielder Chris Lubanski made the team but didn't play because of injuries.
