INTERNET ONLY: Centennial sweeps Legacy in boys volleyball

Jeff Mecham had 26 assists Thursday to help Centennial's boys volleyball team win 25-2, 25-22, 25-14 at Legacy and improve to 13-1 overall and 9-0 in the Northwest Division.
Drew Staker added 11 kills for the Bulldogs, and teammate Chey McDonald had five digs.
Ethan Ewing had nine kills and Steven Leavitt 15 assists for the Longhorns.
• Cimarron-Memorial 3, Mojave 0 -- At Cimarron, Taylor Sorenson's 31 assists and two aces helped the Spartans to a 25-15, 25-15, 25-18 win over the Rattlers.
Triton Manumaleuna added 10 kills and three aces and Scott Beckwith eight kills for Cimarron.
Tony Vaz had 10 kills and Alex Montgomery six for Mojave.
• Palo Verde 3, Cheyenne 0 -- At Cheyenne, Adam Nieman had 19 assists in the Panthers' 25-14, 25-15, 25-20 win over the Desert Shields.
Clayton Worthen had seven kills and Tyler Capko six for Palo Verde.
Ervin Leu had three kills for Cheyenne.
• Coronado 3, Green Valley 0 -- At Coronado, Josh Dunkley had 12 digs and three aces and Chris Austin 12 kills and six digs to lead the Cougars over the Gators 25-11, 25-16, 25-17.
Howie Wu had 23 assists and five blocks for Coronado.
• Silverado 3, Del Sol 0 -- At Del Sol, Justin Close had 25 assists and 11 digs and Trevik Jenkins 10 kills and 10 digs to lead the Skyhawks over the Dragons 25-22, 26-24, 25-20.
Mike Mark had nine kills and nine digs and Brayden Olenslager five kills and five blocks for Silverado.
Harrison Dennis had seven kills, Edlys Garcia five kills and six digs and Garrick Burden nine digs for the Dragons.
• Foothill 3, Tech 0 -- At Foothill, Cody Clay had 10 kills and two aces as the Falcons topped the Roadrunners 25-16, 25-11, 25-16.
Jordan Monga added 13 assists and two aces and Greg Dickensheets six kills for Foothill.
• Basic 3, Liberty 0 -- At Basic, Austin Hafen and Jared Mackelprang each had five kills to help the Wolves down the Patriots 25-10, 25-16, 25-21.
Michael Lunen added 11 assists for Basic.
Devon Gonzales had five kills and two blocks and Paul Acluba 13 assists for Liberty.
