Outlook: Coronado brings back nine seniors and plenty of on-field experience. This team could be among the elite.

DEL SOL

Top players: M Gabrielle Leubke, Jr.; D Jessica Ommen, Sr.; GK Stephanie Encisco, Jr.; M Sonora Lankert, So.

Outlook: The Dragons are relying on a large junior contingent to climb the division standings.

Outlook: The Falcons are young, but eyeing a playoff berth.

GREEN VALLEY

LIBERTY

Top players: M Veronica Martinez, Sr.; ST Ashley Hardy, Sr.; F Brandee Haynes, Jr.; SW Becca Van Compernolle, Sr.

Outlook: The Patriots are excited by a strong turnout and a talented group of underclassmen.

SILVERADO

Coach: Jenna Carter

2006-07 record: 14-2-3

Top players: D AnnMarie Rucci, Sr.; F Shelbi Spooner, Jr.; M Taylor Richard, So.

Outlook: The Skyhawks graduated seven seniors, but have plenty of younger players ready to step in. Rucci and Richard are returning first-team All-League honorees and could keep Silverado among the elite.

TECH

Coach: Josh Jones

2006-07 record: 4-10-3

Top players: M Elizabeth Baldivias, Sr.; F Rykiel Johnson, Sr.; D Natasha Witt, Sr.; D Jeanette Oceguera, Sr.

Outlook: The Roadrunners have a good mix of veterans and newcomers and expect to compete for a playoff spot.

NORTHEAST DIVISION

CANYON SPRINGS

Coach: Michele Schmitt

2006-07 record: 5-8-2

Top players: D/M Raedean Kurtz, Sr.; F Ashley Salazar, Jr.; M/F Jasmine Rico, Jr.; D/GK Amanda Renfroe, Jr.

Outlook: The Pioneers return all but two players from last year and have newcomers who have blended in quickly. Canyon Springs should be in the hunt for a playoff berth.

DESERT PINES

Coach: Kellie Tanner

2006-07 record: 0-14

Top players: M Saira Barajas, Sr.; F Krystal Contreras, Sr.; GK Elvia Castro, So.; SW Jennifer Marquez, Sr.

Outlook: The Jaguars should be improved after playing throughout the offseason and they expect to be competitive.

ELDORADO

Coach: Gerald Pentsil

2006-07 record: 3-10-2

Top players: F Danae Upshaw, Jr.; F Katie Konst, Jr.; M Klaire Wixom, Jr.

Outlook: The Sundevils remain young with three freshmen in the starting lineup. Eldorado continues to build for the future.

LAS VEGAS

Outlook: Valley expects to have its strongest team in years and compete for a playoff spot.

BISHOP GORMAN

Top players: D Maddy Ocon, Sr.; D Emily Lubbe, Sr.; SW Alyssa Campagna, So.; M Mariah Hobbs, Jr.; F Megan Wasiak, So.; GK Alex Holland, Jr.

Outlook: The Gaels have 10 seniors, but few with varsity experience. The younger players, though, are talented and should allow Gorman to contend for first in the division.

BONANZA

Coach: Andrew Sherer

2006-07 record: 5-6-4

Top players: Sierra Borelli; Janelle Millender; Callie Horn; Adianna Torresas

Outlook: The Bengals are young, but hope to make a playoff run. Bonanza's junior varsity was 13-1-1 last year, giving Sherer a talented group to work with.

CLARK

Coach: Liz Case

2006-07 record: 5-6-4

Top players: M Leah Ballard, Sr; M Nicole Lovell, Sr.; F Brittany Pena, Sr.

Outlook: The Chargers have a solid group of motivated seniors. They should be in the hunt for a playoff spot and could make a postseason run.

DURANGO

Outlook: Durango hope to have enough players to field a full team.

SIERRA VISTA

Outlook: Ten returnees have the Lions gunning for the program's first playoff victory.

ARBOR VIEW

Outlook: The Aggies have only two seniors, but return eight starters from a successful team. Peeples and Brinkman combined for 53 goals last season.

CENTENNIAL

Outlook: The Bulldogs will rely heavily on their four seniors, but expect to be among the division contenders.

CHEYENNE

Outlook: The Desert Shields hope a positive attitude and an injection of talent lead to a strong season.
