Victor Chavez scored his second goal with about 15 minutes to play to break a 3-3 tie and give Green Valley a 4-3 win over visiting Del Sol in boys soccer Thursday.

Tim Shue scored the other two goals for the Gators. Juan Ostorga scored twice for the Dragons, and teammate Eric Beil added a goal.

At Arbor View, Nico Johnson scored with eight minutes to play to give the Aggies a 2-1 win over Cheyenne for the Desert Shields first league loss.

Joshua Ballard scored on a penalty kick for Arbor View. Daniel Sanchez scored for Cheyenne.

At Legacy, Justin Hanselman had a goal and an assist to lead the Longhorns over Cimarron-Memorial 3-2.

Oscar Ramirez and Ignacio Ramirez each added a goal for Legacy. Luis Ceja and Joe Garcia each scored for the Spartans.

At Silverado, Esau Salazar scored three goals and also combined with two other goalkeepers on a shutout as the Skyhawks beat Liberty 7-0.

Brandon Romano, Gary Diego, Javiar Payan and Joey Mora each scored a goal, and Geovanne Gomez and Mora combined with Salazar on the shutout.

At Coronado, Austin Hartline scored two goals, and Carlos Dominguez and Max Gunderson each added a goal to lead the Cougars over Tech 4-1.

Esteban Corona scored for the Roadrunners.

At Shadow Ridge, Vincient Lara scored three goals to help Palo Verde to a 5-0 win over the Mustangs.

Griffin Green and Aaron Garfinkel each added a goal, and Eric Garcia posted the shutout for the Panthers.

At Basic, Eulalio Felix had two goals and an assist to help the Wolves defeat Foothill 3-0.

Roberto Valdez added a goal, and Chris Garcia posted the shutout.

At Mojave, Mike Farbridge-Currie, Dustin Westover and Jake Swanson each had two goals to lead Centennial to an 8-0 win over the Rattlers.

Chey McDonald notched the shutout, and Joe Mikulich and Fabian Uhding each scored once.

At The Meadows, Jared Dean and Zack Mullins each had a goal to give Lake Mead a 2-1 victory over the Mustangs.

At Mesquite, Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley tied 1-1.

James Pollock scored for the Bulldogs, and the Pirates benefited from an own goal by Virgin Valley.

GIRLS

At Mesquite, Gladys Avalar and Kierra Ogden each scored a goal as Virgin Valley beat Moapa Valley 2-0.

Jaque Olive had the shutout and also had an assist.
