Kevin Jimenez scored the decisive goal and broke a 1-1 tie about midway through the second half Friday as Tech defeated visiting Foothill 2-1 in boys soccer.
Esteban Corona had a goal and an assist for the Roadrunners. Drew Suits scored for the Falcons.
At Green Valley, Edward Hartline scored two goals for Coronado as the Cougars tied the Gators 2-2.
Tim Shue and Rodrigo Medina each scored a goal for Green Valley.
Medina's goal with about five minutes left in the second half tied the score at 2-2.
At Palo Verde, the Panthers and Cheyenne played to a 1-1 tie.
Vincient Lara scored for the Panthers in the first half. Cheyenne had an own goal in the second half.
At Silverado, goalkeepers Evan Fast of Del Sol and Joey Mora of the Skyhawks each recorded shutouts during a 0-0 tie.
At Shadow Ridge, Robert Callahan scored twice in the Mustangs' 2-0 victory over Arbor View.
Goalkeeper Preston Simper earned the shutout.
At Centennial, the Bulldogs and Legacy tied 1-1.
Justin Hanselman scored a first-half goal for Legacy, and Rory Smith tallied a second-half goal for the Bulldogs.
At Mojave, Corey Ackley and Luis Ceja each scored two goals as Cimarron-Memorial shut out the Rattlers 5-0.
Scott Beckwith added a goal for the Spartans.
Goalkeepers Tyler Redden and Bryan Webb combined for the shutout.
At Liberty, Daniel Bowman scored twice to lead Basic to a 5-0 win over the Patriots.
Josh Sillitoe, Andres Carrillo and Robert Valdez each added a goal for the Wolves, and goalkeeper Chris Garcia had the shutout.
